Some context for Bedman?’s theme, “The Circle”: Long story short, Delilah (the girl)’s brother (Bedman, or at least the previous Bedman) was a major antagonist of the previous game. He pretty much helped orchestrate the events of the game in order to create a world where she and him could live happily, as their powerful psychic abilities pretty much left them in a state of eternal sleep, only interacting with the world through their powers and his mechanical bed. He dies, but Delilah does wake up. His mechanical bed follows her around and protects her, but it is unknown exactly why. Whether her brother told it to protect her as its final command (“Copy that” being the bed responding), or some part of him is possessing it (“I may not be able to make you smile, but I’ll never make you cry”, “I struggled to go outside the circle” making the song Bedman’s POV) is a mystery, but nonetheless it’s the last piece of Bedman’s influence in Delilah’s life.
