It funny how Trunks managed to hold his own for a bit against SSJ 2 Goku since his base form alone has some god energy and the SSJ boost it a bit. Still it was nice to see SSJ 3 Goku again, stopping Trunks sword slash once again with just his fingers (unlike last time where he did it with just a singular finger). And another question to think about, where the hell is the Supreme Kai in the future timeline? No spoilers, but in the manga, there are a few panels showing Trunks getting the same training Gohan got in the Buu saga. I say no spoilers cause that scene is never animated. So yeah where is the man now?

There are 2 timeliness. Our timeline and the future trunks timeline. The androids kliing everyone, trunks going to help fight the androids. And stopping cell.then trunks kill dabura and babidi before majin buu wakes up. AND THEN goku black shows up. That all happened in the future timeline. Tough luck trunks :(
