Reasoning 📝

This is King Charles first owned horse since the passing of the Queen, and will be the first horse to carry the royal colours since. Won last 2 times by fine margins but to 2 decent sorts, main concern would be this will be the 1st time running over good to soft ground conditions which is an unexposed factor, the main danger is ‘Okeechobee’ who is bidding for a hatrick, Educator hasn’t ran in 170 days since handicap win at Newmarket, cheekpieces are going back on today & won in them last year.

Harrys Reasoning 📝

This improving 3 year old remains off the same mark of 82 for his last two previous runs when a close second on his penultimate run but most notably 4th on his last run over 7f when getting bumped and short of room but travelling strongly to the front when ducking left inside the last furlong and tiring after. That was in a class 3 event so he steps back down in grade and trip today which both look positive and he looks nicely handicapped on paper. The selection looks to have scope for improvement out of this lot and if getting some luck in running could go well @13/2
