Rangers have registered more corners than their opponents in all of last 6 competitive games, the only team to register more than them before them matches was Frankfurt in the final of the Europa league, PSV last game was against 1 of the worst sides in their league which they Won 5-2 & their opponents were down to 10 men early on in the game despite the corner count finishing tied at 6-6, then the previous 5 competitive games they played their opponents registered more corners,

Opposition’s Corner counts of 12-4 against Monaco, 6-3 away to FC Emmen despite winning the game 4-1 on goals, then corner count of 4-1 to Monaco, 3-1 Ajax, 9-4 Zwolle, corner aggregate of 38-14 in favour of their opponents over them 5 competitive games.

Because the 1st leg is at Ibrox tonight expect Rangers to have more possession than the away 2nd leg & see a high intensity in the final 3rd which is more likely to produce them corners.

Wouldn’t be a big fan of Kempton in general but 1 or 2 reasons as to why I like the look of this horses chances this evening, consistent sort finishing 2nd in 4 of last 6 starts winning 1,

Harry Davies is on board today who is taking off 5lbs & he’s won 5 of his last 10 races (50%),

Out from under has placed in all of last 3 handicap starts, today is his AW debut which would be main concern but has the green light in other areas, also well supported in the exchange since last night.

5:30 Wolverhampton- BRAZEN DIAMOND Win @6/5 (2.20)

Reasoning 📝

Brazen diamond is due to go up a fair amount in the handicap after his last emphatic win but escapes a penalty for today. Although stepping down in distance it should be no problem as his last 7F win was run at a strong pace so he should be well able to handle it and definitely has the advantage on paper. The numbers coming out of the selections last course win is roughly 2lbs better than the form of anything else and he is receiving weight all round bar for Huntsman’s moon the outsider. Brazen diamond is a very unexposed 3yr old and has some good pedigree on his side suggesting he hasn’t reached his ceiling. Trainer Brisland is throwing out a few winners and Nicola currie is in hot form as of late. I’d expect Brazen diamond to take advantage of escaping this penalty and looks likely too good for this average field, main concern would be Nicola Currie on board although she has shown some decent form recently.
