Harrys Reasoning 📝

Currently priced 2nd in the exchange to Favourite ‘Climate’ On ratings it looks to be a 2 horse race. Climate has been racing at a high level but hasn’t been able to get the job done. On both of her last runs she’s travelled the best of anything without being able to kick on. Most recently she raced in a very poor group three off of 106 and wasn’t able to get the job done. The selection ROSE OF KILDARE looks much more up to the task on paper. Two runs ago she was just headed by Eternal pearl rated 107 and she was conceding 11lbs. On that day she was 5 lengths ahead of “Viola” who had beaten climate by 3 Lengths in his previous race. Next time out Rose of Kildare again was headed late on but looked very game and looks like may appreciate this drop in trip, slightly drifting in the exchange would be a slight concern.

Real Madrid have Won 3 of their last 4 super cup finals which they’ve participated, for those unfamiliar this final is based off the Winners of the champions league final vs Europa league final, Real Madrid not only dominated La liga last season Winning by 13 point margin but also played solid throughout Europe, Although Frankfurt had an impressive Europa league campaign they were inconsistent in the German league finishing 11th of 18, they also lost their opening league home game 5 days ago to Bayern Munich thrashed 6-1, Real Madrid have the stronger squad overall & on paper expect them to get the job done tonight, Benzema scored 15 goals in 12 games throughout the champions league campaign overall. As it’s a final, lower stake than normal 1.5 points.

For those who may remember we had a punt on Frankfurt cards in the Europa league final & although their team committing 18 fouls through 120 mins & Evan N’Dicka with 2 shocking fouls of his own no card was handed out, I made a highlight reel of how bad some of the fouls were, my write up below is also some stats running back from May,

22 year old Centre back has picked up a card in 4 of his 10 Europa league games last campaign (40%) 3 yellows & 1 red, in the 1st half 2nd leg vs West Ham, & the 2nd leg vs Barcelona he received a Yellow & red card late on in the match which I attended, his league card average was low with only 3 yellows in 32 games last season, however in the 2020/2021 season he received 10 yellows in the 23 games he featured, (43.47%). He’s 6’4 and has been renoun for getting stuck into challenges in the Europa league campaign, averaging 1.8 tackles per game in the league this season.

Frankfurts Last game 5 days ago he picked up a yellow in their 6-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the league, & because this is a super cup final it won’t affect any suspension regarding the league fixtures if he does get carded,

Main Concern as to why I’d not be confident in this selection & hence decent odds is because the Referee is Mike Oliver.. the same Referee as the West Ham game on Sunday who was ridiculously lenient only handing out 1 card, he handed out 160 yellows over last season within 46 games in all competitions, an average of 3.46 per match, not including 11 red cards, he can be very inconsistent handing out cards hence the low stake of 0.5 points (0.5%) here.

As mentioned above very bleak racing & sports on in general today hence why the the low point stake outlay overall (3%).
