Won on debut going clear with the Fav ‘Devoted Poet’ by just over 7 lengths, looks a progressive sort despite the 6lb penalty, & on paper the strongest in this field & draw 1 looks ideal with Frankie Dettori on board, main danger is ‘Okeechobee’ with Ryan Moore.

Silver Knott 1 length behind on debut, that form leads this field & trainer Charlie Appleby in solid form & booking of William Buick is a Positive factor who’s won 16 of last 53 rides (30%), booking of group 1 next month is interesting, market support for ‘Animate’ since last night would be a slight concern.

It’s hard to make a case for anything outside of the top three in the betting. The selection has beaten both ‘Shes local’ and Reinforce in her first two starts. On debut Queen of ours had she’s local 6L behind and was pulling further away with each stride, She’s local then stepped up in trip and seemed to enjoy the stamina test a bit more so I’m unsure this step down in trip will suit and she’d have to improve even more to reverse the result. Queen of ours then went on to beat Reinforce by half a length over 5F last time out but was always travelling best throughout the race and only really got going inside the last furlong to pull ahead so the extra half furlong will play to her strengths. The ease in the ground is no concern and trainer Willie mcCreery is well able to improve these 2yr olds between runs.
