Credit to Luca morgan for that ride who is also on board today however negative factor is that On Springs is up in the weights by 4lbs which would be my main concern, however blinkers back on replacing the visor might show to get better positioning in the field as had to swing wide the last day out, if Luca morgan can keep with the pace could run well, advising ‘to be placed’ in ‘more markets’ which means top 2 finish as there is 7 in this field, straight win is 3/1 (4.00) personal preference on angle. Expect 2 close quarter final games tonight all 4 players are playing solid, for 2 years during covid Peter wright accommodated dimitri in his house, they’ve a high mutual respect for one another, although Wright has won 7 of the last 8 H2h games since 2019, they actually played each other in the world matchplay final last year which Wright Won 18-9, Dimi won the highest checkout 105-89, although both players are well capable of taking out a high visit 1 statistic that has standed out for dimitri in his 2 games at the world matchplay this week is his doubling percentage (highest overall out of all players)

In his last game he hit 11/18 on his doubles (61.11%) & opening round 10/14 on his doubles (71.43%), average of 65.63% on his doubling for the tournament is an incredible standard, he also got HC in both of them games with a 146 & 137, although Wright has been playing solid his double percentages have been lower with 40.63% & 37.04% in last 2 games, expect both players to get plenty of high checkout opportunities over this longer format but going with form Dimi is more likely to register a higher finish on paper.

Over such a Long format it’s obviously a bit risky going with under 142.5 checkout in the game however apart from Aspinall’s 143 checkout in his opening game vs Humphries, over the 44 legs won from both players combined this tournament there was no high checkouts registered, MvG highest in his last game was just 85, & previous was 126, then Aspinall over 11 legs won against Wade his highest HC was just 82, another strange stat is in the last 4 H2h games between these 2 players there has been 0 higher than 142 highest on record was Aspinall taking out a 130 when they played at the world matchplay last year was the highest between both players last 4 h2hs over a total of 70 legs being played!

Although statistics are in our favour both players are well capable of taking out a high finish however I’m leaning with the under 142.5 tonight for the reasons mention above.

Basically when I mention points it’s % of your balance so if I say 5 points it means 5% of your balance.

So for example if your balance is €100 and I advise 5 points that’s €5 stake.

If your balance was €1,000 and I advise 5 points then it’s €50 stake etc.

The more points I advise on something the more confident I am in the selection Winning.

Fancies are selections I’d be less confident with in comparison to my point advised bets so recommend no more than 1-2 points (1-2%)
