He beat Wodao twice before when conceding weight on his penultimate and I don’t see any reason for those results to be overturned today. Although he was 7th in Ascot wasn’t too far off and I think the firm ground was a bit too quick for him so the softer ground which he won on in his debut should suit more today. The Antarctics run in Ascot still looks better on paper than both Treasure trove and lady tilburys last win and he only has 3 runs under his belt so there should still be scope for improvement. He looks the class horse in the race and connections are in good form.
