Competitive race however Mosahaf looks the one to beat, has only lost 1 of his 7 races ever, most recently won here April 22nd by 2 1/2 lengths in group 3, trainer John & Thady Gosden in decent form this month, main concern would be ‘Bay bridge’, & is up 3lb although he looks a possible group 1 winner prospect for connections.

Currently priced 3rd in the exchange, I’ve this down to a two horse race between the selection and itwasfate. I don’t think on paper rocco bays bumper form is as strong as the other twos. Both itwasfate and Vinnie is busys form is similar but I wouldn’t be backing blackmores horse at that short price, there is no value. I can’t see the selection being outside the top 3 so I think he’s a value bet. He has by far the best bumper form producing RPR’s of 119 when a close 4th behind Farouk dalene and Stattler rated in their 150’s. He has showed good hurdles form with RPR’s of 120 and I had tipped him on his penultimate run when having a horror start and making headway before falling. On paper he should have hacked up that day and I had a feeling he was being pulled last time out. He’s from c.byrnes yard who are notorious for laying a horse out for a race. He won his debut bumper around here and is a free going horse who could be hard caught if making the lead for a track that favours a front runner. This better ground should be ideal and he’s receiving a valuable 2lbs from itwasfate. His bumper form is standout and I think today could be his day to break his maiden tag.
