He has very good pedigree and backed that up with an impressive win on debut when looking to run green. He always looked to be travelling better than wadao even with his greenness. He should have came on bundles for that run and looks to have more scope than the 2nd place horse. The 3lb difference shouldn’t pose a problem and I’d expect him to progress.

3:00 Killarney- SANTA ROSSA:

She won for us in limerick in great fashion and went on to run a brilliant race in the punchestown festival against males so this step back to mares company looks to be beneficial. That 2nd behind darasso is the best on offer and she is still improving with each run. I have her a good few pounds better than anything else and have her in a league of her own on ratings. She can afford to concede 4lbs and I’d expect her to have progressed from her last run.

On paper it’s between the selection and meditate. I have time both of their last runs and Matilda picotte comes in about 1.5 seconds faster which is a big difference and she didn’t seem to be even off the bridle on that day. Both runs were in the curragh so the evidence is pretty clear and connections are in great form. I think she looks over priced @5/2 and I’m expecting a good run.
