Well supported in the exchange from 2/1 (3.00) yesterday, in decent form winning most recent April 17th in a flat race at Newbury, prior finishing 2nd at Cheltenham on 17th March in field of 19 beaten by well respected horse with a solid record ‘Love Envoi’ also finished in front of a horse in 3rd by the name of ‘Grangee’ who is a decent sort, the in form Ryan Moore is on board he’s won 15 of last 46 rides (33%), this horse is lightly raced for her age, trained by Nicky Henderson, on paper looks the one to beat.

Van gerwen is starting to look back to his best consistently averaging 100+ & has made us good profit over the past few weeks, won yet another European tour last weekend which is 2 in a row, averaged 105 in the semis & just under 103 in the final winning 8-5 vs Dimitri, Peter wright has been been very inconsistent form wise consistently changing & switching up his darts which has seen him average low 180s, he’s lost 9 of his last 10 games and the only match he won was a 6-5 vs Cullen, in 2020 MvG has played wright 4 times and won all 4 including a 6-0 whitewash in the premier league final March 3rd. On paper he’s in better form coming into this game & expect to come out on top.

1 or 2 occasions we’ve been unlucky with this specific market, both players in great form & I wouldn’t be too confident looking at other markets, Michael smith has won Players championship 14 & 15 back to back titles on Tuesday & Wednesday, although it’s behind closed doors & many big names who are in the premier league didn’t participate it shows he’s in solid form, also checkout a 161 in the final, over 20 games played in the premier league smith has the 2nd highest average checkout per game, 104.35, while jonnys is surprisingly lower at 85.45, looking at this stat alternative option to this market above would be Smith highest checkout at Evens (2.00), however majority of you know Clayton is well capable of high finishes as he made us great profit on a streak of 13 few months back, personal preference on angle but I’m going with over 117.5

2:45 Perth- BRAVE WAY @ 6/4 (2pts) - (Currently priced 2nd in the market slight drift over night)

She has some very good Irish hurdle form under her belt producing RPR’s of 126 and has since taken to fences very well, she has been turned over favourite on both occasions but on her debut she really put it up to ballyshannon rose before hitting a wall after the last who is now rated 137, and she seemed to lack race fitness last time out when cruising into the lead after the second last. Her debut race doesn’t put her far off the numbers of champagnesuperover but she is in receipt of 13lbs. I also much prefer the Irish form, it is overall stronger form. I have her only a pound or two to make up with Murphy’s horse but she’s in receipt of nearly a stone so looks extremely well handicapped. This is Rachel’s only ride here today and I’d suspect she’s not travelling for fun! I’m expecting a bold run.

4:10 York- KING OF BAVARIA @ 2/1 (1.5pts)

I think he’s decent value at 15/8, he had two emphatic wins last season before running a good 4th behind some highly rated animals on his return where he just ran too fresh. The numbers on his last two runs are right up there with the best of anything else in this race and he is one of the few that brings good recent form into this race. He is very unexposed and looks to have plenty of scope for more progression. stable are in red hot form and looks an Irish raider with a good chance on paper.

4:30 Clonmel- ‘cover bet 3 places’ ROYAL EAGLE ‘more markets’ - 4/1 - (0.5pts)

I think is slightly overpriced. You’d have to think if Cottie was a hot favourite then Blackmore would have stayed to ride him but he seems to lack progression and a recent run, he is way too short a price for what he’s shown. On form Cottie and Carrigmoorna elm are closely matched and there is only a pound between them but my preference is for Elliot’s horse. He looked a decent type on the flat and had an encouraging debut over hurdles behind a smart type when cruising into it before fading near the end, he was racing in bottomless ground that day and was his comeback run so I’d expect improvement in stamina and experience.
