Consistent sort placing top 3 in all but 1 of 15 career runs, 4 3rds on the bounce however finished 3rd behind Ahoy Senor at Cheltenham latest, then a 3rd behind Galopin Des Champs at Leopardstown in February, GDC won by 18 lengths yesterday, Gaillard also finished 2nd behind Bob Olinger last year at Cheltenham in the ballymore novice hurdle, Paul Towend on board for trainer Willie Mullins who won 4 of the 7 races here yesterday, well supported in the exchange.

Run Wild Fred - 14/1 (15.00) - Each Way

Fell on the 8th at Aintree bad positioning early on, consistent type finishing 2nd in 6 of last 8 runs & Winning 1 of them back in November at Navan in the Troytown handicap chase beating ‘Farclas’ by 7 1/2 lengths who is priced ahead of of Run wild Fred today currently, finished 2nd in the Irish grand National last year which profited from at 9/1 (10.00) e/w, if jumps to best ability should be thereabouts as shown has the stamina for this 3 mile 5 furlong marathon, the heavy weight on board today would be my main concern.

Mister Fogpatches - 16/1 (17.00) - Each Way

Won for us at 11/2 (6.50) May of last year at Punchestown, finished 3rd behind Run wild Fred & Farclas at Navan in the troytown handicap chase in November, finished 3rd in the Scottish grand National last year in field of 22, has shown to be a consistent jumper and finishing thereabouts in these big staying handicaps, forecast is looking likely to see a drop of rain which would suit to his liking over others in this field on paper, 4th lightest in the weights today & cheekpieces added is interesting factor, Danny Mullins on board for Peter Fahey.

As mentioned above 0.5 points (0.5%) Each way advised 7 places.
