Before putting a bet on today whether your in a situation where you profited from my Bets this week or you are down money and just joined trying to win it back what you lost, donā€™t blow your profit made or chase your losses on the last day of the meeting, common mistake people make & very bad habit, weā€™ve a staking plan in place for a reason! Iā€™m personally lowering my stakes, toughest card of the 3 days on paper we look to make it 3 profitable days in a row, Iā€™m personally lowering my stakes, toughest card of the 3 days on paper.

My Tips/Analysis for each race, then Harrys are below them (READ CAREFULLY)

whether you follow us both or not itā€™s personal preference but if you are and thereā€™s a race where we may have the same horse I recommend not doubling points. My fancy selections are 2 point (2%) for Win selections & 1 point Each way unless stated otherwise.

MY TIPS FOR EACH RACE ROB AKA PRO SPORTS ADVICE, THEN HARRYS ARE BELOW MINE.

1:45 Aintree

Winter Fog ā€˜To be placed Top 4 placesā€™ (More Markets) - 5/4 (2.25)

Wide open field of 22 horses in the opener, canā€™t say itā€™s a race Iā€™ve a lot of confidence in, iā€™m siding with winter fog, alternative angle on this would be each way 6 places at 4/1 (5.00) however at them odds not worth that angle in my opinion, finished 4th at Cheltenham in the pertemps hurdle 3 weeks ago, previous run before that was 2nd of 27 at punchestown, Paul towend on Board for Emmet Mullins and market support in the exchange is noticable.

2:25 Aintree - NO BET (Personally avoiding)

Positive Cases to be made for both ā€˜Three Stripe Life & ā€˜Walking on Airā€™ and can see why they are market leaders in the exchange, looking throughout the field Iā€™m avoiding a bet on this race for different reasons.

3:00 Aintree

Edwardstone - 8/13

Currently 1 of the shortest priced horses all week & on paper looking throughout the field he is hard to look past after winning at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago by 4 1/4 lengths, going for a potential 6 wins in a row, jockey Tom cannon has won 8 of his last 17 rides (47%), ran at Aintree in 2021 finishing 3rd in a grade 3 in a field of 22 and then won here in 2019 in a novice hurdle.

3:35 Aintree (READ CAREFULLY)

Flooring Porter - COVER BET - 3 Places (More Markets

(This selection means to Win, but if finishes 2nd or 3rd itā€™s void bet & money back)

Odds - Evens (2.00)

5 points (5% of balance)

Tipped this horse to Patreon members at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago winning with easy by 2 3/4 lengths at odds of 4/1 (5.00), also won at Cheltenham last year by 3 1/4 lengths with sire du Berlais in 2nd, I have mentioned before the horses that win at Cheltenham donā€™t always perform at Aintree as weā€™ve seen throughout this week, my main concern is this will be 1st time running here at Aintree, however connections fancy their chances being thereabouts, ground conditions look to suit on paper & jockey Danny Mullins has won 6 of his last 16 races in past 2 weeks (38%), Trainer Gavin Cromwell is a shrude operator.

Thyme hill is the main danger on paper as the market suggests as won this race last year by a neck over ā€˜Rosanaā€™.

Make sure to read the bet type carefully ā€˜Cover Bet 3 placesā€™ meaning if it finishes 2nd or 3rd itā€™s void bet & money back.

4:15 Aintree

Oscar Elite - 8/1 (9.00) - Each Way - Sky bet paying 6 places instead of 4.

Shan blue tops the market 2 questionable runs last 2 time out 6th of 7 at Cheltenham then falling at Wetherby in October, Oscar Elite finishing 3rd at Cheltenham last month in field of 24 even though the horse was bleeding from its nose, who in the in form festival jockey Harry Codben is on board, finished 3rd here at Aintree last year behind Ahoy senor & Bravemansgame,

Decent each way claims on paper.

5:15 Aintree - Grand National (40 HORSES, 30 FENCES, 4 MILES 2 FURLONGS)

In This race anything can happen, although I had the winner here last year & 2nd in the Irish grand National doesnā€™t mean itā€™s going to happen again, be sensible with your stakes & donā€™t bet with money you canā€™t afford to lose. Iā€™m personally lowering my normal stakes for this race as itā€™s wide open.

Iā€™ve went with 4 each way picks, 1 of which is a 66/1 (67.00) outsider. Iā€™m going to keep my write ups for this race short.

Delta Work - 11/1 (12.00) - Each Way -

Sky bet paying 7 places instead of 6.

Currently priced 4th in the market, & 2nd in the weights although impressive win beating tiger roll at Cheltenham last month on heavy ground in the cross country over 3 miles 6f, slight drift in the exchange would be worrying, jockey on board jack Kennedy rates and travelling well in training latest before inconsistent patch leading up to Cheltenham win.

Snow Leopardess - 10/1 (11.00) - Each Way -

Sky bet paying 7 places instead of 6.

Iā€™m fond of this horse, won last 3 times out including here at Aintree over these fences back December 4th in a field of 21 in grade 3 handicap chase 3 mile 1, on soft ground, main concern is runs to best ability on soft ground conditions and the fact the forecast is dry with no rain not ideal, consistent jumper if the ground is on the softer side of good, decent each way claims.

Run Wild Fred - 18/1 (19.00) - Each Way - Sky bet paying 7 places instead of 6.

Solid 2nd each way placement in the Irish National for us April of last year over 3 mile 5f at 9/1 (10.00), won at Navan November 21st beating ā€˜Farclasā€™ by 7 lengths, 2nd at Cheltenham last month was slighty disappointing run however is consistent jumper and has form over versatility ground conditions, Gordon Elliott yard form would be main concern (1 win in last 33 rides), Davy Russell on board.

FreewheelinDylan - 66/1 (67.00) - Each Way - Sky bet paying 7 places instead of 6.

This is a Longshot outsider, Won the Irish National last year at 150/1, runs since have been poor, 4th, 6th, unseated rider, pulled up, however 4th of 19 at punchestown in 3 mile 7f handicap chase last year after the national victory, & top 4 RPRs are away from soft ground, which may have been against him over hurdles on latest run, career best needed but his jumping (normally) & stamina are strengths on paper, unlikely though.

6:20 Aintree -

Before putting a bet on this race whether your in a situation where you profited from my tips this week or you are down money and trying to win it back donā€™t chase your losses on last race after grand rational or throw away profits made this week by increasing stake on the last race, bad habit & common mistake.

6:20 Aintree (READ CAREFULLY)

Rath Gaul Boy - COVER BET 3 Places - 5/2 (3.50)

(This selection means to Win, but if finishes 2nd or 3rd itā€™s void bet & money back)

Currently priced 2nd in the exchange market, 1 of Paddy Mullins 4 rides this week, won point to point in Kinsale by 8 lengths October 30th, followed up with a win at Leopardstown last month by 6 lengths, wide open national hunt flat race, field of 20.

1:45- PARTY BUSINESS @ 13/2 (7.50) 1pt E/W)- 5 places

Party business had a brilliant run to finish 5th in the Martin pipe last time when also after coming to a standstill after being hampered in the 2nd hurdle and was slightly hampered again after. He was running up the hill very strongly and he is running off the same mark today. With the way he finished his race off last time youā€™d have to think this step up in trip would be ideal. He is still very unexposed and is very progressive. Conditions will suit and I have him 7lbs better than the next best. My biggest danger would be Winter fog. He ran very well last day out when making a mistake at the last but has had s rough two races and he mightnā€™t be 100%.

E/W selection FLASH THE STEEL @33/1 (0.5pt E/W)

This selection had a very good win three runs ago giving weight all around to win nicely and was rated 142. He has since come off a break and has been pulled up twice however he is now 9lbs lower than his last winning mark, I had been looking at him and debating advising him before my friend who is in Aintree was talking to Dan Skelton himself who said ā€œthis horse will winā€ that confirms my thoughts about him!

2:25- win selection THREE STRIPE LIFE @10/3 (2pts)

Place selection (3places) NORTH LODGE @13/8 (1pt)

On paper Three stripe life comes out on top being rated 7lbs better than anything else and was only 3L off the very good Sir Gerhard at Cheltenham. We now know he stays the trip and conditions suit and he looks to be improving based on his RPRā€™s and distance behind Sir gerhard. He looks too classy for this field and should hopefully get his head in first as itā€™s well deserved. I do think North lodge is a great E/W shout @7/1 but I have him advised as a place. He won a bumper back here on his debut and had a very good win in graded company before being just touched off last time when miles ahead of 3rd. He looks highly progressive and I have him next best to three stripe life. Stable is in great form and I think heā€™ll be the greatest threat to three stripe life

3:00- E/W 2 places GENTLEMAN DE MEE @4/1 (1pt E/W)

I think Edwardstown can be taken on today, although I would not be one but surprised to see him win I think he could be vulnerable. Heā€™s had a tough campaign and I think third time lucki could get close to him if his jumping holds up as he has his slightly quicker ground today but I like the look of Gentleman de mee. He was 2nd behind Haut en couleurs three runs back when giving weight whoā€™s rated 150. He has since romped home twice one being in a graded affair ahead of some decent rivals. He won in a canter and looks extremely progressive. Willie has been very selective about his horses heā€™s brought over this week and I think this horse could be very good as heā€™s only 6 and is improving at a rate of knots.

3:35- win selection FLOORING PORTER @7/4 (3pts)

I donā€™t see any reason for flooring porter to be overturned today. He had thyme hill and champ in behind last time out when taking a pull most of the way so this stiffer track should be ideal. He ran very green up the home straight and continued to pull away once straightened up and he handles todays ground. I donā€™t see any reason for this form to be overturned today.

5:15 ECLAIR SURF @14/1:

Eclair surf is a very progressive horse he recently came second behind win my wings last time over 4+miles who went on to romp home next time out. He is running off the same mark again today and is due to go up in the weights. He fits the bill being 8 years old and he should last the trip and ground. He jumps very well and is off feather weight of 10-6. I think he could be very well handicapped and could make a very bold bid if getting a good ride.

LONGHOUSE POET @16/1- I like his numbers and I got good word from Martin brass Il that ā€œhe will win a nationalā€ he didnā€™t say what national or when but seems very bullish. He said heā€™ll stay all day and heā€™s improving. It just concerned me how little chasing experience he has.

6:20- win selection ERNEST GRAY @4/1 (1.5pts)

This horse won a bumper in Ireland very nicely before cantering home last day in Warwick ahead of a previous winner when giving weight. He barely came off the bridle that day and looked very green looking around on the home-straight so he should have come on bundles for that run. He produced the best RPR of 121 and his trainer is in great form. He handles the trip and has pedigree that suggests he should improve.
