Yesterday overall I only tipped 2 Favourites out of the 7 races & we made return on investment in 6 of the 7 overall. just because we cleaned up profit wise yesterday & every day at the Cheltenham festival back to back, please stick with the staking plan folks,

Hard to look past the top of the market in the majority of the races today on paper, I’m personally lowering my normal stakes today as I don’t like the look of todays card overall at all, I’m lacking confidence in comparison to yesterday, nevertheless here is my write ups for each race 🏇📝

My Tips/Analysis for each race, then Harrys are below them (READ CAREFULLY)

whether you follow us both or not it’s personal preference but if you are and there’s a race where we may have the same horse I recommend not doubling points. My fancy selections are 2 point (2%) for Win selections & 1 point Each way unless stated otherwise.

1:45 Aintree - Langer Dan - COVER BET ‘More Markets’ - 4 Places - 2/1 (3.00)

(This selection means to Win, but if finishes 2nd or 3rd it’s void bet & money back)

2nd at Cheltenham last year 2 1/2 lengths behind Galopin Des Champs who had a solid run at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago before falling at the last to Bob Olinger, 2 questionable runs for Langer Dan most recently at Taunton and fall at Cheltenham, however going off 2lb lower than last years mark, & Harry & Dan Skelton in decent form recently, if can avoid mistakes jumping expect to be thereabouts hence why going with cover bet angle rather than straight win, originally was looking at ‘Cobblers dream’ as an each way punt who finished a solid 2nd at Cheltenham latest in the Martin pipe handicap hurdle, however up 4lb in the weights and drift out in the exchange from yesterday 5s out to 8/1 would put me off, ground conditions don’t suit.

2:20 Aintree - Jonbon 11/10 (2.10)

Has won 5 from 6 runs, only defeat was to Constitution hill in the opener at Cheltenham March 15th a race which we profited from, Jonbon has won by 2+ lengths in grade 2 at ascot in December followed up with success at haydock, trainer Nicky Henderson rates he is in decent form with 8 winners from last 29 runs (29%), this looks the one to beat on paper with Aidan Coleman on board.

2:55 Aintree

Bravemansgame - 11/8 (2.38)

Joint equal odds in the exchange with ‘L’Homme Presse’ a horse which won at Cheltenham on soft ground beating ahoy senor by 3 1/2 lengths, however Bravesmangame was market leader before being pulled out of the race at Cheltenham a as non runner because of the heavy rain, although L’Homme presse’ has impressive record can’t Ignore the fact that nearly all its win have come on softer ground, weather forecast is expected clear skies and no rain in morning which would slightly suit to Bravemansgame liking regarding the ground conditions as has shown consistent runs winning on good ground,

unbeaten over fences winning 5 out of 5, Harry Cobden on board a jockey I rate.

will mention that ahoy senor won at 66/1 at Aintree last year in novice hurdle beating bravemansgame by 7 lengths however jumping recently has been questionable.

3:30 Aintree - Fakir D’oudairies - 5/4 (2.25)

Originally was looking at each way outsider ‘Hitman’ at 14/1 to take him on as unexposed over this trip but for different reasons I’ve went with Fakir, Won this race last year by 11 lengths, last run was February 19th Winning grade 1 in ascot chase by just less than 2 lengths, previous race before that was in grade 2 finishing 2nd behind the well known quality horse Allaho, market support in the exchange is good sign trainer Joseph Patrick o brien is in decent form and fancy’s his chances.

4:05 Aintree Mister Coffey - Sky bet / Bet 365 - 8 places for each way - 9/1 (10.00)

Wide open field of 30 horses, MC well supported in the exchange from double digits, although finished 4th in this race last year finished a neck behind ‘Edwardstone’ in 3rd who won at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago, Mister Coffeys’ most recent run was decent 2nd in a field off 22 after suffering early interference at Cheltenham and jumped well, the difference of having Nico de Boinville on board instead of Sam Waley-Cohen may show the difference for trainer Nicky Henderson, main concern would up 4lb in the weights, forecast expected is to dry up in morning, good to soft would suit to its liking on paper, Last 3 runs were all 2nds but against decent opposition.

4:40 Gelino bello - 7/1 (8.00) - Each way Sky bet paying 5 places instead of 4.

Won here at Aintree in Maiden hurdle back in October by 6 lengths over 2m 4f, finished 2nd in grade 2 at Cheltenham December 11th to ‘Blaxing Khal’ who has won 4 in a row, Harry Cobden on board for Paul Nicholls, I can see why ‘ban Bridge’ is the market Fav after winning the Martin pipe handicap at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago although Aintree is different task and hasn’t ran here before.

5:15- NO BET (Avoiding this race no confidence, Wide open field).

Early 1 for Saturday - 3:35 Liverpool Hurdle (READ CAREFULLY)

Flooring Porter - COVER BET - 3 Places (More Markets)

(This selection means to Win, but if finishes 2nd or 3rd it’s void bet & money back)

Odds - Evens (2.00)

Advising Stake 5 Points (5% of balance)

Harrys Horse Tips 🏇 (These are separate to Mine)

Aintree

1:45- LANGER DAN @3/1 (1pt)

I had sided with Langer Dan in Cheltenham when he was backed heavily into favouritism and was brought down early. I’m sticking with him here again. He has the best form on paper behind Galop des champs in Cheltenham last year and the conditions suit today. I have him on ratings 4lbs better than the next best and if getting a clean run I can see him going very close.

2:20- cover bet 2 places FIRST STREET @3/1 (2pts)

This looks a selection between the first 3. EL Fabiola cantered home the last day and he looks a good prospect but bar the 2nd horse the rest were rated 104 or less so the competition was very poor that day. You’d have to think if he was good enough he’d have raced in the supreme so I would prefer Jonbon over him. However my preference is for First street. Both him and Jonbon are closely matched by colonel mustard with the selection beating him by 2L while conceding 5lbs but Jonbon beat him by 2L off level weights. First street looks more progressive than Jonbon of late and will handle conditions. I think it’s between the two and first street is a great price at 4/1.

2:55- BRAVEMANSGAME @11/8 (3pts)

I had picked out Bravemansgame for Cheltenham before he was pulled out and I’m sticking with him today. On form I have him a few pounds better than L’Homme Presse. He has his better ground today and he will be fresher than that of L’Hommes presse

My right up for Cheltenham:

“Bravemansgame met Ahoy senor on their penultimate runs with bravemansgame coming out on top. He showed a great turn of foot when bolting clear in the straight and always looking to be pulling further away. Bravemansgame then went on to beat some decent horses while giving away lumps of weight so he is still improving from each run, although ahoy senior probably wanted better ground than that of the last day I can’t see him turning the tables with bravemansgame. L’homme presse has had some very stylish wins recently by wide margins but they haven’t been against opponents as good as today, I also amn’t sure the extra distance will suit him and I think he’ll get outclassed today. Bravemansgame looks an out and out stayer with a brilliant burst of speed, I have him roughly 7lbs better than any other horse in the race and I still see him improving. “

3:30- FAKIR D’OUDAIRIES @5/4 (2.5pts)

The selection won this race last year very impressively and was back to winning ways in ascot last time out. On paper he is the best horse and has all conditions to suit again today. He will have been aimed at this race all year and on paper should make another bold bid.

4:40- BANBRIDGE @5/2 (2pts)

This horse is the standout bet for me. He won Martin Pipe very impressively and stayed on very well which indicates this step up in trip will suit and his pedigree would agree. He looks the most progressive horse in the race and on numbers he is producing the best of them. I’m not sure this trip will suit Gelino Bello and Skytastics and Crystal Glory’s numbers don’t match the selections.

For anybody looking for an Acca for the day:

-First street place (3 places)

-Bravemansgame win

-Fakir D’oudairies win

-Banbridge place (3 places)
