2:40 Catterick - BELUGA GOLD

4:00 Nottingham- TRUESHAN

His original horse with write up was announced a non runner this morning & he’s went with Beluga Gold as alternative option.

TRUESHAN- this horse is by far the classiest in the race. Winning the grade 1 in Longchamp and then the group 2 in ascot. On ratings he is far ahead of anything else and is well able to run fresh. He handles the ground and should start his season off on the right foot

4:15 Leopardstown- PEARLS GALORE @15/8 (1.5pts)

This is the standout horse for me in this race, he brings the best form to the race when 2nd over C&D last September. He was giving weight and just behind No speak Alexander and ahead of Mother Earth who are rated 110 and 114 respectively. On ratings he’s the one to beat and he goes well fresh. Trainer is in good form and looks primed for today.

3:25 Nottingham- BOONIE @4/1 (1pt)

The selection had a very good 3rd behind Amor and Fearby on his penultimate run and was very progressive up until his most recent outing when travelling too keen in some good company. Cheekpieces were tried then and they are left out today. He is one of very few that has shown form on ground softer than good and trainer is in fine form. If coming back to his Goodwood form on paper I think he could be hard to beat.
