2:55 Market rasen- win selection (THIRTYFOURSTITCHES) @7/2 (1pt)

I have this race between the selection and One for you. Winds of fire looks far too high in the ratings, he is 4lbs higher than his last hurdles mark and 13lbs higher than his last winning mark. Made for you still looks too high in the weights even with the claimer still on board. Nothing else takes my eye. One for you has good previous form but hasn’t looked to build on that, he’s beaten some smart types but I’m not sure that form is as good at face value and he has been poor this season. Even if he comes back to his best I only see him running to his mark but the stable isn’t in flying form and he comes with risks. I like Thirtyfourstitches. He was bidding for a hat-trick last time when falling still in contention. He looks to still be progressing and escapes any penalty with that fall last time out. He’s 1/1 here and last the trip. He is in form and still looks like having room to improve. I would advise a cover bet or E/W for any people looking for a safer option

4:40 Market Rasen- Win selection (EDMOND DANTES) @13/8 (2pts)

We had Edmond Dante’s on his last run when falling and he was travelling extremely well. He had a very good debut and escapes a penalty for his last run. A mark of 93 looks extremely lenient for this highly progressive chaser and he should make amends for his last run. Alberic did have a good victory last time but is hit with a 7lb rise and doesn’t look as good a chaser as the selection. This is only Brian’s 2nd ride of the day and his first ride is an outsider so I’m expecting a win here today.

3:55 Wincanton- win selection (MALIBOO) @1/1 (2pts)

The selection beat Queen of the court a few runs back and beat him well, there is a small turn in the weights in favour of the 3rd horse but that shouldn’t affect the previous result. Maliboo looks a much more progressive horse and still looks to be a few pounds better than his OR. Alpha Carinae has good previous form but hasn’t shown anything at all this season and has to concede 3lbs to the selection here. He comes with too many risks and shouldn’t affect Maliboo.

4:30 Wincanton- E/W selection (ABAYA DU MATHAN) @13/2- E/W places @21/4 (0.5pt E/W = 1pt)

Although I do think Esprit De Somoza should win this I do see great value in the selection. Many of these have no form coming into this race and the same can be said for the selection although it hasn’t been long since he’s ran a good race. He was rated 136 off his French form at the end of last year and that was quickly adjusted after a poor run but he was running respectable to a mark of 118 at the start of this year and has recently shown very little. Today he is back to his optimum trip as he was tried over longer and recently shorter trips where they didn’t look to suit, he’s also racing on his preferred quicker ground and is a tough front runner, with conditions to suit today and off feather weight he could be hard to catch in front. He was dropped another 5lbs from his last run and is now racing off a very low mark of 102. With everything looking to suit I wouldn’t be surprised if he ran a cracking race.

5:05 Wincanton- win selection (STORMIN CROSSGALES) @6/5 (2 pts)

The selection has the standout form on offer when third last time with the 2nd and 4th going on to win very impressively next time out. I have him roughly 20lbs better than Moorland rambler and he only has to concede 13lbs. These two have by far the best for on offer. The selection is still very unexposed and has progressed with each run. He should get his head in front today.

Odds on these horses may have fluctuated since posting to Elite / Premium tier.

This is more of a discussion and people’s opinion/verdict be sensible with your stakes following other Members, remember you guys are on here to follow my tips, this is more of a chat, and if your not somewhat educated with horse racing please don’t just pick out random horses for the sake of it.
