My Cheltenham Day 3 Tips šŸ‡ (Harrys are posted below mine after the 5:30 race tip)

1:30 Cheltenham

Bob Olinger - 11/10 (2.10)

Sky bet offering money back as cash up to ā‚¬10 if your horse finishes 2nd, this is a 4 horse race.

Currently priced 2nd in the exchange and has won 7 of 8 runs, main concern would be the terrible form of Henry de Bromheads yard, only 1 Win in last 21 races and that was Honeysuckle, however this is one of the best horses he has the 2nd best he has in the stable when looking at past form, main danger on paper is Galopin des champs and on paper the main danger, this is a race which me and Harry are clashing with, his write up is below.

Iā€™m Disappointed to see ā€˜El Barraā€™ in this 4 horse race so we canā€™t back him each way, horse which I rate and has won for at punchestown in April at when I tipped 12/1 (13.00), No each way places here so I wonā€™t be backing him today.

2:10 Cheltenham

Sire Du Berlais 6/1 (7.00) Advising ā€˜Each way - Sky bet covering 8 places.

1 of few reasons Iā€™ve leaned with this horse is because when I was chatting with Kevin o Ryan the Presenter of racing tv in the airport he said this will be 1 of this 6 horses he will be betting on this week, his horse knowledge and insights are insane, after looking into the race myself can see different reasons as to why itā€™s an each way punt, Sire Du Berlais being well supported in the betting exchange odds of 6/1 (7.00) and listed 2nd in the betting for this race when I shared the Tiktok video, now backed into market leader. Won this race in 2019 on good to soft ground conditions, and then Won it again in 2020 4lb lower in weight and on soft ground, rained throughout the day yesterday at the track and starting ground conditions when looking at the forecast is likely to be good to soft in places which on paper suits, finished 2nd here last year in the stayers hurdle behind an impressive ā€˜Flooring Porterā€™ Jockey on board today is Robert James, a 7lb drop in weights is positive factor. Gordon Elliott rates, The main concern is 24 in the field, however 8 places for each way and at odds of 6/1 (7.00) slight profit made if finishes amongst the places, Good luck to all having a bet.

2:50 Cheltenham

Allaho - 4/6 (1.67)

Personally 1 of my favourite horses, won this last year by 12 lengths when I advised at 5/1 (5.00), some members will recall, finishing clear of ā€˜Fakir Dā€™oudairiesā€™, another talented horse, they ran again against each other most recently at last month in grade 2 at Thurles and Allaho won there by 12 lengths also, Has won 4 of last 5 runs, ground conditions shouldnā€™t be a worry, shortly priced but Iā€™ll be shocked if he doesnā€™t Win for Paul Towend/Willie Mullins duo.

3:30 Cheltenham

Flooring Porter 4/1 (5.00) - Each way - 4 places

Anything less than 4/1 (5.00) I recommend straight win rather than each way but itā€™s personal preference, Won this race last year by 3 1/2 lengths ahead of Sire du Berlais who has shown consistency here in past few years as stated above, although was 2 lengths behind Klassical dream who got off to a head start and last time out at Leopardstown didnā€™t look at his best ability that day and Klassicals most recent race when favoured on soft ground didnā€™t go as expected, decent run from Porter at Navan back in November before falling 2 hurdles out, if jumps well can has decent chance on paper.

4:10 Cheltenham

Imperial Alcazer - 6/1 (7.00) - Advising each way 7 Places

Bottled up here in novice handicap chase by 10 lengths last time out January 29th over C&D on good ground, has also won on soft/heavy over hurdles in last, wide open field of 22 and cases to be made for a few, Paddy Brennan on board and he rates.

4:50 Cheltenham

Dino Blue 9/4 (3.25)

Impressive debut flying home by 15 lengths January 6th, on heavy ground conditions over 2 miles, Willie Mullins rates her chances today.

Imprevious 16/1 (17.00) - Each way Bet 365 paying 6 places

This is 1 the 6 horses which Kevin O Ryan the presenter of Racing Tv said he was backing each way when I was chatting with him, the drift from 8/1 would personally put me off as ground doesnā€™t look likely to suit on paper but Iā€™m mentioning what Iā€™ve been told, the remaining 3 of his tips all run tomorrow.

5:30 Cheltenham - Donā€™t really like the look of this race thorn between 2 but looks wide open in this field of 25 however place for each way paying 6 places.

Mister Fogpatches - 9/1 (10.00) - Each way 6 places on Bet 365

3rd in Scottish grand National in field of 22 before winning at the Punchestown back in May which we had backed at 11/2 (6.50), Patrick Mullins on board positive factor heā€™s won 4 of his last 9 rides (44%), versatile regarding ground conditions which suit, main concern would be consistency jumping, if stays up decent each way place claims, Supported in the exchange since last night.

Smoking Gun 11/1 (12.00)- Each Way 6 places on Bet 365

Won at Fairyhouse back in November in a handicap chase on good ground, then most recently 3rd there February 9th, questionable form throughout 2021, Jamie Codd on board for Gordon Elliott, perhaps worth a look at the exchange view pre race depending on ground conditions, if keeps with the pace has e/w chance.

HARRYS TIPS Cheltenham day 3: (THESE ARE SEPARATE FROM MINE ABOVE)

1:30:

This is a battle between Galopin des champs and Bob olinger. Bob olinger had a very stylish win in last years festival and has since won twice over fences looking very impressive. To me his jumping looks a bit stretchy though, he gets in a bit tight to fences and isnā€™t the most fluent. If it were to be very heavy ground tomorrow I may have decided with Bob olinger but the forecast looks good and it should dry up a small bit. My preference is for Galopin des champs, he had a very emphatic win in last years festival when powering up the hill and has taken to fences like a natural, his most recent win looks the best form on paper beating master mcshee by 9L. He jumps unbelievably, rarely putting a foot wrong and is improving no end. I think with his high cruising speed heā€™ll be too much for Bob olinger and will run him into the ground, I also think his jumping will be key and will be the main factor in getting his head in front, expecting a very good run from Galopin.

Win selection- Galopin des champs @1/1 (3pts)

2:10:

I have narrowed this race down to three horses, Sire du berlais, Alaphippe and Winter fog. I was able to narrow these down due to recent form and previous pertempts stats. The horse must be aged between 6-8, be carrying a weight between 10-4 to 11-12, the horse must have an OR of 133+ but ideally 138+. This race tends to produce winners who have raced within the last 76 days but ideally 61 days or less. The price should be below 16/1. With all this taken into account and from previous for I have narrowed it down to these four. Coming out on top in the ratings is Alaphilippe. He was just half a length behind sire du berlais last time out but that was over an extra furlong and it was Alaphilipes first run from after a break, he looked to be cruising coming to the second last when just not seeing g to be able to quicken but this is to be expected from coming back from a break especially on a soft surface. With the cobwebs dusted off by that last run and the shorter trip Iā€™m expecting a very bold bid from him today. That qualifier in Warwick is a good race to predict the winner of this with 3 of the last 11 winners having ran in that race. None of them won in Warwick but went on to win in the festival. I have him handicapped very well, he is still very unexposed improving with each run and will handle the ground as heā€™s won a bumper on heavy and handled the soft going very well last time out. Expecting a great run

E/W selection- Alaphillipe 6/1 E/W 7 places (2.5pts E/W =5pts)

2:50:

Allaho looks set to win this for two years in a row. He looked a machine last year when winning by some margin and has since won twice in good fashion. This will have been the target all year and he looks to be peaking again at the perfect time, conditions will be no problem and Iā€™m expecting a back to back. Conflated just doesnā€™t look to be near as good on the ratings and doesnā€™t look like thereā€™s much more progression in him. Shan blue looked to be romping home last day before a very heavy fall Where heā€™s been off awhile since, I see him as a more staying type and Iā€™d be skeptical to back him after that last fall.

Win selection- Allaho @8/13

3:30:

I had this race narrowed down to 2 horse, Thyme hill and Flooring porter. I ruled Home by the lee, Lisganar Oscar, Song for someone and Koshari off quickly off recent form and ability. Paisley park is now 10 years of age which is a huge feat to overcome and his previous win looks to be flattering, I think heā€™s past his best. No mare has won this race and I donā€™t think Royal kahala will do that today, you need an OR of 153 plus and she only has 148. Her last run looks better on paper than it actually is, she only had Home by the lee beaten just over a length that day and that form wonā€™t win her todays race. Champ is a 10yr old and doesnā€™t look an out and out stayer to me. Klassical dream looked to be a good thing in Leopardstown but on that day he jumped almost 20L clear and only finished 2 lengths ahead of Flooring porter in the end, many think he had a blot next time out but I think thatā€™s just her actually capability. He isnā€™t bred to stay and I personally I donā€™t think heā€™s a thorough stayer and wonā€™t last the trip on the ground. Thyme hill looked interesting and has produced some fine runs but he always seems to just get caught, Iā€™m not sure he will enjoy the conditions today and I donā€™t think heā€™ll last utill the line. My preference is for Flooring porter. He looked like a machine winning last year and I personally think he would have blown every horse out of the water last time out if not for that unusual start, he handles the conditions and looks open to more improvement.

Win selection- Flooring porter @7/2 (4pts)

4:10:

This race has a few stats to go off. Horses must be aged between 6-9. A horse canā€™t carry more than 11-4 on their back and should carry between 10-4 to 11-4. The horse must have an OR of 135+ but ideally 140+. This race also seems to fancy those in the top of the betting but looks to have a cut off point of 16/1 or less. From taking this into account and previous form I have narrowed it down to The glancing Queen and Admiral. Admiral is improving over fences and should handle conditions but I just amnt convince he likes the track, heā€™s ran a few times when running some very poor races. My preference is for The glancing queen. Although she is short enough for a competitive handicap I think she has the best form on offer. The second behind Le hommes presse last time out is the standout form with the winner going on to win again yesterday. I have her roughly 4lbs better than anything else in the race and I think sheā€™s very well handicapped. She loves the ground and has a good record around cheltenham, trainer is in good form and she looks the standout horse in this race.

Win selection- The glancing queen (3pts)

4:50:

I have this race between Dinoblue and Brandy love. Brandy love looked an exciting horse until her final outing where she jumped violently to the left, although todays left handed track should help Iā€™m still skeptical about backing her, she doesnā€™t look the finished artical yet. My preference is for Dinoblue. Willie Mullins has a cracking record in this race and I donā€™t think thatā€™ll stop. He had a very impressive win on his debut when powering clear in front of some useful rivals by a wide margin. The third placed horse has since gone on to be placed in group company producing RPRā€™s of 128 and he was beaten almost 20L by Dinoblue. He looked the finish arrival that day with his jumping being textbook and Iā€™m expecting there to be loads more to come. He clearly handles the ground and I think he could be a very good thing.

Win selection- Dinoblue @9/4 (3.5pts)

Double:

Galopin des champs

Allaho

Paying @2.3/1 (5pts)
