We cleaned up last years festival profit wise we look to go one better this year I’ll be at the track for the week, stick with staking plan 📊 just because it’s the biggest racing event of the year please don’t get carried away by your stakes, I advise against multiples but it’s personal preference on angle, be responsible and don’t bet with money you can’t afford to lose, Enjoy and lets smash the bookies!! 👊🏼

Harrys Horse tips will be separate from mine in the horse thread.

1:30 Cheltenham - Constitution Hill Odds - 5/2 (3.50)

Each Way Fancy - Mighty Potter 13/2 (7.50)

(Sky bet are offering up to €10 stake if your horse loses for this race full money back as cash)

This horse is the 3rd most backed Horse overall in the week on the exchange, Over 3 career races Won 2 & 1, 2nd, most recent race January 22nd Won Grade 1 at Sandown by 12 lengths on heavy ground conditions, final 2 furlongs burst of speed very impressive, other win at sandown was by 14 lengths, both Jockey Nico De Boinville & Trainer Nicky Henderson highly rate and reckon it’s one of the best they’ve ever trained, decent claims to be made for ‘Dysart Dynamo’ and can see why they are closely matched in the market.

Heavily backed in the exchange since yesterday and when I was chatting with Kevin O Ryan this was 1 he mentioned as an each way punt ‘Mighty potter’ grade 1 win last time out at Leopardstown December 27th, and with 4 places for each way on Sky bet decent claims to be made for Jack Kennedy & Gordon Elliot.

2:10 Cheltenham - Blue Lord Odds - 9/2 (5.50) Each way (4 Places)

Unbeaten in last 3 novice chases, Won most recently at Leopardstown in grade 1 beating 2nd in the market for this race ‘Rivière D’etel, Blue lord won at Fairyhouse 11th December Winning by 5 1/2 lengths to a solid stablemate ‘El Barra’ ground conditions suit, competitive race but on paper can see Blue lord getting into the places if jumps well with Paul townend on board for Willie Mullins.

2:50 Cheltenham - Fantastikas 14/1 (15.00) Each Way (7 places on Bet 365 & Sky Bet)

This is the toughest race of the day to pick from in my opinion wide open field, be sensible on stakes.

Hurdle debut in November 2020, has decent form over fences, with 2m 7f handicap and novice wins at Lingfield good to soft/heavy ground conditions, ran well in Grade 2s at Doncaster and here at Cheltenham January 1st when finishing 3rd, running off a mark of 144 if jumps well has decent each way claims, slight drift in the market would be main concern, Trainer Nigel Twiston Davies have a 30% strike rate here this season.

3:30 Cheltenham - Honey Suckle

Odds - 4/6 (1.67)

This horse has ran 14 times and Won all 14, unbeaten, hard to look past and majority of peoples NAP, this is the most backed horse in the exchange overall for the week,

In the event of a shock/upset this horse

one to mention ‘Tommy’s Oscar’ 40/1 (41.00) Each way, 3 places being covered. Alternative angle would be ‘to place’ at 4/1 (5.00)

Won all of last 4 runs against decent opposition, consistent place finisher, Grade 2 last day out winning by 5 lengths, although a massive outsider to be placed 4/1 (5.00) against the odds, possible.

4:10 Cheltenham - Tellmesomethinggirl

Odds - 4/1 (5.00) Each way - (5 Places for e/w on Sky bet)

(Safer option ‘to Be placed’ is Evens (2.00) which means finish in top 3.

Each Way Fancy - Queens Brook Odds - 9/2 (5.50) - (5 Places for E/w on Sky bet)

Fond of this Horse, Won for us at last years festival comfortably by 5 1/2 lengths, the form in 3 after has been questionable but didn’t look pushed on to win, she produced a career best when failing 1 length short when top weight in in a Leopardstown grade 3 last time out December 29th. Main concern would be Henry de Bromhead’s recent poor form, Rachel Blackmore on board.

Queens Brook was 1 of the 6 Horses which Kevin o Ryan mentioned to me when I was speaking with him, and the market support over the past few days from 10/1 into 9/2 is interesting, close 2nd to Burning victory on soft to heavy ground at punchestown 3 weeks ago, her 1st run in 4 months, consitent sort and has finished top 3 in all 10 races in her career, Elliott rates.

4:50 Cheltenham - Gaelic Warrior Odds - 5/2 (3.50)

Each way Fancy - HMS Seahorse Odds - 12/1 (13.00)

Bet 365 6 places for each way instead of 4, also Bet 365 Best Odds currently.

Wide open race Mullins & Townend top of the market, beaten 3 times over hurdles on soft & heavy ground conditions, good to soft may see suit, in the last 2 races kept up with strong opposition and including a wide margin Grade 1 winner, strong suspicion that he is hurled in off this mark & market support is a interesting factor on paper.

9lb swing in the weights in Seahorses favour, finished 2nd behind the Tide turns in January however was 2 1/2 lengths ahead of ‘Brazil’ both of these horses in this race also, potential each way chance off this mark and good to soft ground conditions, interesting to see this is Paul Nolans 1st runner in this race since 2005. Being well backed in the exchange since yesterday also.

5:30 Cheltenham - Run Wild Fred

Odds - 9/4 (3.25)

Advised this horse antepost 2 weeks ago at 3/1 (4.00) and is being heavily backed in the market, we had this horse at 9/1 each way at the Irish Grand national back in April when finishing a close 2nd of 1 1/4 length from a field of 28, won comfortably at Navan in Grade B by 7 1/2 lengths, solid form of 1st and 2nds in all of last 6 runs from back end of December until now, JJ Codd now on board is positive factor he’s won 3 of his last 8 rides in past 14 days (38%), Mullins horse looks main danger bud Fred looks the one to beat
