This is more of a discussion and people’s opinion/verdict be sensible with your stakes following other Members, remember you guys are on here to follow my tips, this is more of a chat, and if your not somewhat educated with horse racing please don’t just pick out random horses for the sake of it.

If your advising a Horse Tip I recommend sharing a bit of Reasoning/Research along with your selection.

1:30 Leicester- First Figaro @18/5 (2.5pts):

The selection won last time out when back from a year long break, that trip was 3miles on soft ground so took a bit of doing and really started motoring near the end which is unusual for a horse after such a long break so I’m expecting him to strip even fitter again today. The step back to 20F on better ground looks ideal as it was a tough race 7 days ago. On that day he beat a few very good rivals including steel wave who is in a rich vein of form and Tanarpino and Vivas who are rated 126 and 122 respectively. Although they did have to give weight to the selection they were a good way behind. First Figaro is rated 100 today but I have him about 10lbs better than that. He was racing off 102 last time out so is effectively 2lbs lower and is running in a class 5 this time whereas it was a class 3 last day out. This 2lbs is pretty much cancelled out as jockey Ned Fox’s claim has been reduced too. Everything points towards a back to back win and he is also receiving 7lbs from Radetzky March who doesn’t look to be improving. He is rated 100 and that’s exactly where I see him, he hasn’t built upon his recent runs and I see the selection improving on again. Great D’ange is interesting as he hasn’t fired at all over hurdles and is making his chasing debut today, I don’t see him affecting the selection but market support would be of interest. Nothing else should affect the selection.

2:40 Leicester- Edgar Wallace @15/8 (3pts):

The selection is a very unexposed 7yr old having a short but very good stint over hurdles before opening up his account over chases last November. He did so beating Orrisdale who has previously won a class 3 over fences. On that day he also had Torigni in 3rd, although there is a 4lb turnaround the selection was a good few lengths ahead and looks open to much more progression. I have the selection a good few pounds better than his OR of 135 and he acts well fresh so I’m expecting him to get his head in front today.
