Solid horse in his prime, 9 year old now & form was questionable before last time out running here at Newcastle coming last to 1st from when outsider at 25/1 (26.00), after finding a burst of speed went on to win comfortably over the same distance as today 1 mile 4 furlongs, recommend watching the replay, my doubts would be the drift from last night 8/11 & I’m personally not a big fan of sand tracks as results can be inconsistent, Sir Chauvelin 4lb rise but can see why favoured amongst this field, on paper looks the one to beat.

‘Pallas Dancer’ non runner would be a positive factor, 4 horse race main danger looks to be ‘Shake a leg’.
