Not the best record over hurdles with just 1 win in 7 which was here back at Ascot last year, beaten Fav 3 times since including 2 2nds, heavily supported in the exchange since last night, made an encouraging reappearance when 3rd of 12 at Cheltenham October 22nd, finishing behind a solid winner in ‘Guard your dreams’ running off same mark today however slightly shorter trip, the horse which finished behind him 1 1/2 lengths in 4th that day was ‘Art Approval’ who went on to win at Cheltenham last week in a field of 20, which shows a good indicator of form, trainer Nicky Henderson has a good record in this race & with Nico de Boinville on board, looks the one to beat on paper.

Other Horse which I’m going to mention as an outsider Longshot but I personally won’t be backing, is Ghumama 9/1 (10.00) in the 6:30 Dundalk,

Reason why I’m mentioning is that 9 days ago I got sent word in from a good contact that this horse was going out to push for the Owner/Yard, I personally travelled to the track and we had each way covering 4 places, he was last all race then when finding a gap the final furlong came like a train and finished 5th of 14 by a 1/2 a length when we required top 4 finish for profit, Sky bet are paying 4 places instead of 3 for ‘each way’, slight drop in weight from the last day but if this horse is capability good enough to come in the frame is another question.. if you are having a punt I recommend no more than 1 point each way @ 9/1 (10.00). Dundalk is renoun for throwing up odd results.

I know this choice of selection has been common this week but it’s been very profitable for us this week & year on the players I’ve selected, in these long format matches the statistical data leans in our favour on paper, expect a close match against Cross hence why this is a fancy.
