Casper Rudd world number 8 winning at ATP San Diego outright only dropping 1 set in the whole tournament, he received a ‘bye’ in the 2nd round in this tournament because opponent pulled out, so he is fresh match fitness wise coming into this match, although his opponent Marcos Giron registered an impressive win against Diego Schwartzman yesterday 2-0, both sets went 13 games (7-6, 7-6), Rudd with an extra day rest could see beneficial, they never played each other before which is my only doubt but on paper Rudd is the better player and also in better form coming into this.

Had my eye on this horse late last night at 4/1 (5.00) when I was scanning through the cards, Career form over 1st 6 races is terrible, however won comfortably at Lingfield by 3 lengths last week for new yard after 5 month absence, avoids a penalty and future mark will be 9lb, leading contender provided he’s in the same form again, Hollie doyle on board good pilot.

1 or 2 horses lined up for the weekend waiting on odds to be priced up before advising.
