Reasoning:

David Gilbert has been 1 of the most reliable snooker players for us the past year the last 6 times I’ve selectively chosen him to win a match for us he has done, the world number 21 has won 21 of his last 24 matches (87.5%), can’t fault his opponents consistency of recent also, however Gilbert’s wins have been against higher quality opposition in general, their most recent H2h was back in March which Gilbert Won 4-3, on paper I expect him to edge a win as in my opinion he’s all round the better player.

Mervyn king shocked the world yesterday with the best performance of the night by some margin winning 6-0 vs Wade averaging 115.62, for those that aren’t familiar with darts this average is unplayable & unbeatable, he also scored 6 out of 9 on his doubles (66.67%), doesn’t mean he is going to do it again, but good indication on how he’s playing form wise, I don’t really rate Madars Razma stage form, he made a good run to the semi final in the players championship last week behind closed doors but at Nordic masters and European stage events he’s been below par.

Had my eye on this one last night before being backed in, 3lb lower weight below his winning mark and has a good record when fresh, rain suits and it rained all night in Musselburgh, the other main danger horse in the exchange ‘return ticket’ doesn’t run well on softer ground and because of the weather and ground conditions has a factor with his drift.
