As majority of you know I’m not a big fan of the football international breaks, scanning through tonight’s matches there is not a whole lot of value in my opinion I’ve listed some shorter price fancies below as I know there is a high demand for selections however I would be sensible with stakes.

World number 1 Gerwyn price looking to win this tournament for 2 years in a row, he has been in solid form this week only losing 1 set overall in his 3 matches

This week, scorelines of 2-0, 3-1, 3-0 (8-1 aggregate), we profited on Gerwyn winning his quarter last night which I advised to members pre tournament @ 11/10 (2.10), he has played Stephen bunting 8 times in the past and won 6 of them matches, Gerwyn’s double Checkout percentage this week is 42.05%, most important factor to this tournament is a high double percentage as it’s double in double out format, for those unfamiliar with darts 42% is solid, his average overall for the tournament in his 3 matches is 93.85 which is very good for the Grand Prix, bunting’s average for this week is 90.92, wasn’t that impressed with bunting performance last night and if he throws similar expect Gerwyn to progress the final.

Jonny Clayton with a difficult route to the semis with wins over Callan Rydz, Jose de Sousa & Krzysztof Ratajski, the most impressive aspect to Clayton’s 3 matches was his doubling statistics, 60% (6/10) in 1st match, 64.71% (11/17) vs de Sousa, then over 5 sets vs Ratajski 68.42% (13/19) which is an incredible standard on the outer ring, for those unfamiliar with darts or this tournament doubles are the most important stat to win matches as the players must start and finish the leg on the double hence why them statistics are most important, I can’t really fault his opponent Danny Noppert this week playing solid, although a 1st tv semi final might show to be too much pressure for Noppert and on paper the the current premier league champion Jonny Clayton looks likely to win, they played once which was back in February and Noppert won 6-4 although I wouldn’t look to much into that match as it was at players championship 3 which Is behind closed doors with no crowd.
