Last day out Drogheda put in a great performance away from home winning against Dundalk 2-1, who had gone 10 league meetings without a win over their rivals for a 1st victory over Dundalk since 2014 and a 1st at Oriel since 2012. Drogheda came into this derby clash in tragic circumstances after their Under-14s coach David Conroy died in a car crash 2 weeks ago. although in recent matches results haven’t been going their way can’t forget about the performances in May/June when they won 4 out of 5 league matches, they come up agaisnt a Sligo side in bad form losing 7 matches in a row in all competitions, H2h form have been close in recent years, the last time they played was in the league June 12th in Sligo’s stadium and Drogheda Won 2-1 (Sligo scored 90th min goal) tonight’s match they have the home advantage, rather than going with Drogheda straight win ‘Draw no bet’ looks safer option on paper, for those that never heard of this bet before it basically means Drogheda to win, but if they match finishes a draw it’s void, (full money/stake back) I’ll also be travelling to the match if value shows inplay I’ll inform everyone with a bet.
