Snooker selection is similar to the Mini Dart groups except the winner is decided over 3 matches today, 1st to 3 frames wins or 2-2 is a draw, if you missed the start of this group session Gilbert at 11/10 (2.10) to win against Highfield 7pm tonight looks decent, that match will likely decided the group winner, world number 23 David G has had a decent season, positive wins in past few months won 3-2 vs Neil robertson in this tournament, then 6-5 win vs Kyron Wilson at the masters in January also showing solid form, most recent competitive match he fell short to world number 1 at the world championship Judd trump, getting knocked out 13-8, no h2h’s with Sanderson Lam from this group, played Jamie Wilson once in February which gilbert won 4-0, and the last time he faced world number 43 Liam highfield was 2017, which David won 6-1. Main danger on paper is Liam Highfield but Gilbert is the man to beat.

1st leg of European league qualifiers this evening, Both teams have scored in all 3 of Celtic’s games so far this term and going back to last season they have only not scored in 1 of their last 5 away games, while Jablonec have scored in each of their last 8 home matches. Celtic have been struggling at the back recently & I’ll be surprised if they kept a clean sheet today.

Been informed that this is running well at home, they’ve Frankie Dettori booked & fancy their chances today, drift from 7/1 overnight puts me off advising points, i personally don’t like the look of the horse on paper but last 2 horses I’ve been informed from this contact both won at good odds so giving this a mention, negative factor would be rain is forecast for this evening in Doncaster & that’s likely why the drift, won twice over 1 mile 2f on Polytrack last year & creditable 3rd of 4 on Tapeta reappearance in February, the flop last September in his only turf race is a concern, although the only time from 9 races that Frankie Dettori has ridden him, he won.

Off the mark at 22nd attempt over hurdles when beating Persia in Balinrobe novice over this trip last month on good ground, & backed that up with a solid 3rd at 2 miles Galway handicap 10 days later, with talented rider Shane Fitzgerald on board positive factor, main danger on paper would be stablemate ‘Ferdia’ Heavy rain forecasted at Sligo today, which may see impact on results.

Fancies are selections I’d less confident in comparison to my point advised bets so recommend no more than 1-2 points (1-2%).
