I know I said this throughout the week but today looks one of the toughest cards recommend smaller stakes.

‘Fancies are selections I’d be less confident in comparison to my point advised selections, so recommend no more than 1-2 points.

Course - Galway 4:00 🕰

Horse Name - Purple Mountain

Odds - 5/4 (2.25) (Result: 1st)

Landed a listed mares’ bumper at Gowran in October, Successful in 2 NH flat races at 2m and 2m 1f on good and soft ground.

Well supported in the exchange this morning and Patrick Mullins on board for Willie Mullins positive factor.

Course - Galway 4:30 🕰

Horse Name - Hallowed Star

Odds - 2/1 (3.00) (Result: 1st)

Hard to look past, well regarded bumper winner ran well at this festival last year finishing 2nd, won at Roscommon earlier this month in maiden hurdle, and seems lucky to be remain eligible for this grade, on paper looks the one to beat.

Course - Galway 5:00 🕰

Horse Name - Flying Scotsman

Odds - 6/1 (7.00)

Big field of 19, was thorn between a few in this. This Horse won 2 on flat on this track last year and won 4th attempt over hurdles last time out at Navan on good ground, Simon Torrens on board good pilot.

Sky bet paying 5 places for each way

Course - Galway 5:30 🕰

Horse Name - Visionarian - Result 5th ✅ & Jazzaway - Result 1st

Odds - 7/1 (8.00) & 8/1 (9.00) each way

Always frustrating when come across a wide open race & thorn between 2 horses, 20 in the field fancy these as each way punts.

Visionarian market mover backed in from 10/1 to 11/2 over night, won last month at down Royal on good ground, consistent horse 6 races 3 wins & 2 2nds.

Jazzaway 2nd here last year on good ground in mares handicap hurdle to ‘Mrs Milner’, last time out after that was April winning at punchestown in a field of 24, Conor McNamara on board for trainer Willie Mullins.

(Sky Bet paying 7 places for each way)

Course - Galway 6:05 🕰

Horse Name - Gloire D’athon

Odds - 9/2 (5.50) each way

This is probably one of the hardest races today wide open market wouldn’t be confident on anything in this, won in Cork earlier this month when well fancied on good ground, has the potential to do well over fences but probably best watched this time.

Course - Galway 6:40 🕰

Horse Name - Darasso (Non runner Money back) because of this horse being pulled out I’m personally avoiding this race now.

Odds - 7/4 (2.75)

High class peformer over fences & hurdles, won a chase in Listowel last month, & ran well in the plate on Wednesday, competitive race.

Course - Galway 7:10 🕰

Horse Name - The Big Lense

Odds - 16/1 (17.00) each way

Outsider fancy, Winner of a hurdle race, 3 chases and a point-to-point from 2m to 3m 1f on good ground. A winner at 20/1 in a chase at Kilbeggan over 3m 1f (good) on his latest outing earlier this month. Sky bet paying 6 places for each way.

Course - Galway 7:45 🕰

Horse Name - Ashroe Diamond

Odds - 4/5 (1.80)

Hard to look past this horse, Willie Mullin targets this race, won on debut at Wexford when we’ll fancied in May, on paper the one to beat a

for those who prefer outsider value each way punt to mention ‘The Gossiper’ 10/1 (11.00) 2 time bumper winner at Wexford & down Royal, Emmet Mullins rates.

At Goodwood I fancy ‘Battaash’ for the king George at 3:35 🕰 @ 2/1 (3.00) I was going to advise points but the drift in price because of heavy rain this morning etc. has put me off advising points, Dragon symbol is the main danger on paper.
