Another tough card today at Galway with wide open races, be sensible with stakes. Note that Sky bet have been generous with extra places each way this week, I know not everyone would have an account with them but it does give us a slight advantage on each way over other bookmakers paying less, For those who are new ‘Fancies’ are selections I’d be less confident in comparison to my point advised bets, so advise no more than 1-2 points (1-2%)

Also, Football is the main sport I cover on here but not a whole lot on this week value wise, looking forward to the new season kicking off in around 10 days, potential inplay value in the Celtic CL Qualifier later will keep you all updated if I’m placing a bet ⚽️

Horse Fancies 🏇

Course - Galway - 4:35 🕰

Horse Name - Valentina Lady

Odds - 9/1 (10.00) Each Way

Won a Naas bumper in 2019, was having her 1st run since unseating in a valuable handicap hurdle at Naas last November when landing a Wexford maiden hurdle winner 6 weeks ago, competitive field of 21. (Sky bet covering 6 places for each way)

Course - Galway - 5:10 🕰

Horse Name - Suprise package

Odds - (drift price) 9/1 (10.00) Each way - 2nd

Well supported in the exchange overnight, placed twice in maidens from 4 starts before getting off the mark at 14/1 in the Red Mills Auction series final 2 mile 4f at Punchestown in April, progressive horse

Personally don’t like the look of this race, for those that don’t know for each way fo cover 3 places 8 horses need to run, their is 7 in the race so each way only covers 2 places unless you add ‘each way extra’ to selection.

Course - Galway - 5:45 🕰

Horse Name - Lasparas

Odds - 11/10 (2.10)

Hard to look past the Fav for Willie Mullins, Won Tramore bumper last month back in June, when sent off 4/9, could be hard to beat hurldes debut.

noticeably ‘Lonsome Boatman’ well supported in the market shortened in from 9/1 to 9/2 - 2nd overnight. Shown ability in 2 bumpers followed by a promising 4th on hurdles debut at punchestown.

Course - Galway 6:15 🕰

Horse Name - The Shunter

Odds - 13/2 (7.50) each way Nap - 4th

Competitive field of 22,

Highly rate this horse won easy for us at Cheltenham advised at 5/1 & backed into 9/4,

Excellent effort when 2nd in a Grade 1 at Aintree given he was reported afterwards to have suffered a cut in the race, deserved break after punchestown &

another horse in this race which landed us a big win at punchestown at 16/1 (17.00) back in May ‘Brahma Bull’, outsider again today at 20/1 (21.00) and decent each way shout today in a wide open big field (Sky bet paying 7 places for each way)

Course - Galway - 6:45 🕰

Horse Name - Guiri

Odds - 10/1 (11.00) each way - 6th

Ran out a impressive winner of a 2 mile 4f handicap hurdle Punchestown first time cheeckpieces and off the back of a break, got 10lb for that but reached 100 on the flat and looks capable of more hurdles.

(Sky bet paying 6 places for each way)

Course - Galway - 7:15 🕰

Horse Name - Abbey Magic

Odds - 11/1 (12.00) each way - 1st

Off for almost 2 years until last September, won Grade B handicap chase at Cork the following month, good 3rd in valuable Punchestown mares handicap, & highest rated out of trainers (Henry de Bromhead) 7 runners in this race. (Sky bet paying 6 places for each way)

Course - Galway 7:45 🕰

Horse Name - Santa Maria

Odds - 5/1 (6.00) each way

Personally hate these races with unraced horses as not much to go by, Half sister to stables bumper/hurdle winner ‘Dixie Lee’ interesting with Top jockey booked.

Course - Galway 8:15 🕰

Horse Name - Merlin Giant

Odds - 5/4 (2.25)

Another race full of horses that are unraced, MG 4th in the Land Rover bumper on debut, also significant that Patrick Mullins on board,

For each way punt I like ‘Esperti’ @ 6/1 (7.00)

Runner up on debut at Down royal, Trainer Peter fahey rates.

Course - Goodwood - 3:35 🕰

Horse Name - Poetic Flare (edit 2nd)

Odds - 13/8 (2.63)

Won for us last time out at Ascot last month at 4/1 (5.00) If it wasn’t for the soft ground conditions I’d be really confident with Poetic flare getting the job done today, was 4/6 & because of ground & heavy rain has drifted out to 13/8, competitive Grade 1 race with the likes of Alcohol free & Snow lantern involved, A positive would be came a close 2nd to Macswinay in the 2,000 Irish Guinneas on Soft/heavy ground, the ground conditions & drift in price could be questionable factors & that’s what is putting me off advising points stakes on him.

As mentioned above for those who are new football is main sport I cover regularly but as pre season Friendlies are on, I generally don’t see them as profitable or value wise, 10 days time we will see major leagues worldwide kicking off which looking forward too, Any Questions Message me! 📥
