The Open championship begins tomorrow, and 1 player standing out form wise recently and has been most consistent the past 3 months since the birth of his 1st child early April.

The Open Championship ⛳️

Golf Fancy: (Tournament is 4 days long starting Thursday 6:35am, finishing Sunday)

Jon Rahm 8/1 (9.00) each way

Recommend backing each way on Paddy power as their covering 12 places.

Other Golf Fancy ⛳️

Louis Oosthuizen 25/1 (26.00) each way

There a specific outright Market I like on sky bet ‘Without Big 7’ (Rahm, Mcilroy, Speith, Koepka, Schauffele, Thomas & D Johnson, which pays odds of 18/1 (19.00) covering 6 places each way.

Both of these players in solid form heading into this tournament & I’ll be quite surprised if neither are up there in the leaderboard come Sunday, sometimes I like to wait until 1 or 2 days are played out before making a decision for golf selections but it’s personal preference.

Golf single ⛳️ - Starts 6:35am (The Open Championship)

Louis Oosthuizen Top South African

Odds - 9/4 (3.25)

Advising stake 3 points (3% of balance)

(Best odds Sky bet)

Don’t want to bore you all with the reasoning behind these 2 fancies & selection, as I know many of you know on here wouldn’t know much about Golf or have much interest in general, but good luck to all having a bet.

Darts Single 🎯

World Matchplay - Saturday 8:45pm 🕰

Jermaine Wattimena under 2.5 Player 180s

Odds - Evens - (2.00)

Advising stake 5 points (5% of balance)

Reasoning:

Members who have been with me past few years will know how profitable it’s been betting on Wattimena low 180s, quite literally thousands of profit, I was expecting the odds to be shorter for Saturday, he has been thrown into this tournament under short notice as Mensur Suljovic has withdrawn due to medical reasons. And Wattimena replacing him, Wattimena comes up against world number 1 Gerwyn price, the world matchplay format in the opening round is 1st to 10 legs, these played each other in the World Grand Prix in October and he scored total of 1 over 10 legs played, the time before that Gerwyn won 7-0 & he scored 2, averaging only 81. The world number 32 is going through a bad run of form recently and on paper should be a comfortable win for Gerwyn price. 1 of the main reasons as to why Wattimena scores low 180s is his throw style pace, very fast and generally misses the last dart for a maximum because he doesn’t use the dart as a marker etc, in the last 3 years I only recall 1 match of his seeing him score 3 or more 180s, every other his count is either 0, 1 or 2. He has the lowest average of 180s scored out of every player ranked in the top 32. Because this match is a major event on stage it also adds extra pressure, unless the match goes distance, on paper it’s unlikely seeing him scoring many.
