Pre tournament odds on this were under 1.5 but because Ireland got a red card in their 1st match the line is 2.5 now, this tournament has been on for 22 consecutive years and not a single year has their been over 1.5 (2 or more) never mind 3 over the 15 matches played, In last 22 6 nations there has been a total of 9 reds, which is an average of 0.4 per tournament.

3 matches played so far and 12 left over the next month. Maybe be 1 more red in the later stages but 2 is very unlikely on paper, compared to football, cards are rare in rugby as ref usually gives either a yellow or a sin bin, red cards only for something serious or intentional and rugby refs are also renoun for being lenient in the past, the fact there is no crowd atmosphere either makes this selection more likely imo. 2 matches this Saturday & 1 Sunday, Tournament will finish 20th March.
