King imo was one of the most impressive performance’s yesterday with a 102 average and 6-1 win over Glen Durrant & 6 out of 7 on his doubles, 2020 was a very solid year for Merv getting to the final of the players championship in november missing match darts against Mvg for the title, he plays a rob cross who had an awful 2020 and there is big pressure on him this year to maintain prize money on his world ranking, haven’t seen cross playing consistently/good in a long time and I think he will have a difficult year ahead of him, cross last month at the worlds got knocked out 1st round 3-2 averaging just 92.39. Last time these played each other was a 1st to 10 leg format in 2019 also a final, and king won 10-5.
