Snooker value/selections/outrights :

Snooker masters starting tomorrow and I can see profit being made on this tournament,

This selection ‘At least 1 century break in each match’ is priced differently with every bookmaker,

Paddy power best odds on this @ 12/1 (advising stake 3 points (3% of balance)

Betway offering @ 9/1

Sky bet offering @ 11/2

William hill offering @ 3/1

Reasoning:

12/1 shows value for this selection although it’s a best of 11 format it’s the worlds top 16 with no crowd pressure and these recent tournaments with no crowd atmosphere has seen record numbers of century breaks and high standard, there is a total of 15 matches, 8 1st round matches, 4 2nd round matches, 2 semis and the final.

In recent years at the masters the centrury break total tally is usually around 25-28 region will not be suprised if they break the record this year.

2 players I think show value for ‘tournament highest break’

John Higgins Highest break @ 18/1

advising stake 2 points (2% of balance)

(All bookmakers have odds on this selection but sky bet are doing dead heat rules so would advise backing with them)

Reasoning :

Suprised with odds on this selection for Higgins as he has been renoun for high century breaks in the past, 11 147’s in his career, and 2 days ago he nearly got another missing one of the last reds to then clean up the rest, I reckon it’s bigger odds cause it’s likely seeing him either going out in the 1st/2nd round to Ronnie but wouldn’t put it past him getting a high break before he’s exit, last year at the masters he scored a 140 which was 2nd highest to the winners 144 (Gilbert).

Player who scores the highest break get prize money of £15,000, Robertson’s 147 count is surprisingly only 4, reckon he’s a good chance of going all the way this tournament his scoring and consistency over the past few months has been phenomenal and is also renoun for scoring a high break.
