Patreon Update - January 2022 (Patreon)

Hi Patrons, Robin here with your first update of the year 2022. Last year ended weird for our group and it will be impacting the beginning of this year. But we’re hoping it will only be for a short time.

Last month we decided it was the best thing for our team and their families if we, for the most part, closed down our studio again. The severe spread of the new Covid-19 variant in our community and across the country made us want to take a step back and make sure we’re doing everything we can to be responsible for ourselves and our channel. So once we’re all back from our scheduled time off we’ll temporarily be working distanced again. But we don’t expect it to be for very long this time. Nonetheless this little hiccup might slow down our January and February content production. We’re going to do everything we can to get new videos out to everyone as quickly as possible.

However we will be putting our extra Patreon content, Ask Rerez, ReWatch and RezCast, on hold for a couple months until we’re back in the studio full time. To do those shows our guys need to be face-to-face in a room together and before we return to that we need to be as sure as we can be that it’s safe. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

The good news is we’re already starting off the year with a project underway. This month the team will be editing Popeye on Nintendo Switch for Just Bad Games. And we have a bunch of games on our To Play list which we’ll be diving into as well. We also have a few ideas cooking for the year which will take some time to see through but they’re gonna be fun. We can’t wait to share more with you as developments happen.

We entered December with huge enthusiasm for what 2022 would hold. We’ve been thrown a bit of a curve ball, but we’re still very excited to keep doing what we love to do and bring you entertaining video game content! Here’s to good things in this new year. I’ll be back with another update next month.
