When it manufactured personal computers, Sony got a reputation for producing some unique and niche machines. But sometimes they were a bit too niche...and that was the P-series' downfall.

Wow, one of the first laptops I own that you've covered! I love this little thing; it's my go-to computer I use to show off "netbooks". The screen is hard to see for my eyes (although surprisingly crisp) and the specs are terrible, but I love it dearly. The only major downside for me is that Linux does not run well on it, due to the Poulsbo video chipset not having recent linux drivers... ah well.

What an interesting little Vaio machine. I doing recall seeing that one. One of my coworkers from the time was big into Vaio but he preferred the traditional notebook models. Thanks for sharing this small computer with a quirky personality with us!
