In the early to mid-2000s, netbooks became very popular due to their  small size and low price...but that also usually came as the cost of low  performance and few features. But while this Sony VAIO packs a netbook form factor, it makes relatively few compromises.

Great video, and a very interesting laptop. Vaios were always a little different from the rest, so it was always exciting to see a new one.

I agree. I didn't pay much attention to Vaio gear when it was on sale. At that time I was paying more attention to the Sony Clie Palm OS PDA products. It's nice to be to go back and see what else Sony was doing back then. Great video!
