These are great machines!, I repaired one for a friend in in 1997 (I was just out of college at my first job then) with a cracked PCB using enamelled copper wires. Good sounding unit it was too. Stoked you got this one going.

Closest thing I had to a Walkman was a portable cassette recorder I used for interviews from 2001-2006, and a detachable cassette player before that. A few years ago, I did pick up a refurbished tape deck that I use for making promo tapes that I give out at events.
