I needed an easier way to swap SD cards in the SCSI2SD module I installed in my vintage Mac SE/30...and after looking at the expansion slot, I got an idea.

I loved the acrylic thing you made! And it's really really kind of you to make that model for the relatively small audience that would need this mod. Sounds like your workshop/garage(?) is really cool and packed with interesting gear. Ever thought of doing a video tour of it?

Good stuff! Just a small suggestion on the 3D printed bracket, you'll want to add some supports on the side to add some strength to the bracket. FDM printers are stronger in X and Y than Z, so the bottom could snap off at the screw point. I imported your stl into TinkerCAD and added those, since it looked like you were also using that. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/3huzAw1Rmgg-scsi2sd-se30-bracket-supports-and-logos Let me know if I should private that or share it differently. Thanks for the videos as always!

Yeah I thought about the bracket strength, but then I realized that the two SCSI2SD standoffs closest to the front could be modified to also act as supports. Adding the side supports as you did is probably still a good idea, and I like that you also placed the SD and USB icons on there! I'm still getting into the whole CAD/3D printing thing; I don't have a printer (nor the space for one) but it's still a fun challenge to sort out how to design something in 3-dimensional space.

I've occasionally thought about doing an office tour, but my garage is utterly boring -- it's small and because I like keeping my car inside, there's not much room for anything else.
