TDNC Podcast #50 - High-Res Audio.mp3

I consider myself a little bit of a headphone snob, I use Sennheiser HD800s at my desk properly matched with a DAC and amplifier, but I've never found anything in high resolution that makes it clearer or better. HiRes audio and lossless is useful for converting down to lossy for primary listening. The speakers generating the waveform will make a much bigger difference than anything extra in the digital representation of waveform. The only feature that really could sell people on that isn't arguably snake oil seems to be multichannel audio, and I can't comment on that since I don't have anything that produces that.
