Status Update - October 2023 (Patreon)

Hello again to all my incredible amazing beautiful patrons!!! <3 <3 <3

With book 4 of Aka Amy complete it seemed like the ideal time for another quick update, although I'm mostly going to be reiterating stuff I mentioned in the July update a few months ago. Which is mainly that the legendary and elusive concept of 'taking a break' is in fact soon approaching. But first a quick look at what else is going on:

Although Aka Amy book 4 is over the story isn't quite done yet. I have some more Amy goodies coming over the next week or so.

Club Luna book 4 still has a ways to go yet, we have a bunch of interludes and some bonus chapters, plus all of episode 20 to get through there.

Right now I'm working hard to get out the next batch of commission chapters. Thanks to the awesome Meg we've got some more Home Sweet Home coming soon. And another chapter of Mountains of Magic is on the way, courtesy of the incredible Jess. Thanks to the amazing Lucy there's more Green Canyon Magic on its way, and we're looking forward to more Magic of Ben Macdui thanks to the awesome duo of Aster & Yuki!

Looking further ahead, now that I've finished working on the latest installments of both Amy & Luna I'm really hoping to be able to get back to Daughters of Demeter again. I know a few people have been waiting patiently for that, me included. And as usual I do have a bunch more ideas and notes floating around. 

Which brings us back to that earlier point about a break. Once the next batch of Amy chapters has finished posting we're going to cut back to posting every other day for a while. Our buffer has run out, while the issues & challenges we mentioned back in July continue to slow us down. 

I don't want to repeat all that but in summary: mental & physical health issues remain a concern, especially anxiety which is the big one.

We're hoping to have another story ready to go by the time Luna book 4 finally wraps up, but as it stands there's a good chance that won't happen - in which case we'll be taking a short break without any chapters at all, towards the end of November and perhaps into December. However it plays out we'll let you all know what's going on when the time comes.

Thanks again for all your ongoing support! We seriously couldn't do this without all of you, & we really appreciate all of you for being here with us through all the chapters and stories, and all the characters we've seen so far.
