Snapshot Sunday - November 5, and November Vote Reminder! (Patreon)

Hey there Patrons!

First off, a quick reminder! Voting for the November Reward Pic is underway, but there's only 8-ish hours left in the first round! If you're a member of one of the tiers that allows you to vote, be sure to get your vote in here!

This will be a pretty quick Snapshot check-in, as the two pieces posted earlier in the week were really the only things that got worked on this week. There were a small handful of things I had to handle later in the week that were non-art related, but the other major reason was I just kinda wanted to take a quick breather. The nearly overwhelming stress from before was draining in a number of ways, and I figured taking a day or two to figuratively catch my breath was probably better for the long run, as I feel like I'm finally getting some headway into getting back to being in a better spot, and the last thing I wanted to do was to possibly ruin that by jumping back in to early or too eagerly.

Anywho, I decided to also include the various stages of the completed images to sort of show the progress, at least for the Loona pic. If you look at the sketch stage you'll see that I have a few alternate versions planned that I'd like to get done before the end of the month, though regardless of when I get around to doing that, they'll be Patreon exclusives for a good amount of time. Other projects will take priority, but it's something else I'd like to do!

And for the other sketches, there's more work on CJ's custom kobold, specifically a growth focused alternate sketch that'll be cleaned up to go with the rest of the sheet! Her method of growth is pretty fun since she's going to be a slime kobold working at the Green Horn Lounge, which for those of you who might not know is an in-universe bar/restaurant/adult entertainment venue that a good amount of my characters work at/frequent, most notably Caliza, who's the owner of the establishment! And then I have a really rough warm-up sketch for a new kobold that I had an for that I mentioned on Twitter, a clumsy but friendly and outgoing witch kobold who "unintentionally" cast a spell on herself that she can't remove that causes her to perpetually have random growth spurts! This first sketch has some of the vibes that I want for her, namely the really leggy/tall/elegant look in her body, which will pair well with her being really clumsy as well. That said, I think she might need to be bulked up just a little bit, as I want the growth spurts to be more than just height (i.e. sometimes they're hyper, sometimes they're muscle, etc.)! The other thing about her is that she's going to have a lot of long/flowing aspects to her design, between long hair, a long tail, flowing clothes, etc., plenty of things for her to Trip over, hence the working name Trip!
