Snapshot Saturday - January 14 (Patreon)

Hey there Patrons! Short update this week. Most of my time was spend taking care of administrative stuff, like updating ToS files for commissions, updating watermark files with the current year, and most notably for y'all, working on making a discord server! Most of the work on that front is done but there's still a little bit of polish and stuff to go before I'm ready for the public launch. There will also be a patron exclusive section to the discord, but as far as what will go on there, I'm still not entirely sure. Keep an eye out for future posts for suggestions on what to do with it!

Anyway, on to the actual art! Like I said, not a lot this week because of the above, but the main drawing is of a big bnuuy gal, which will be the start of a yearly tradition of drawing the year's zodiac animal as a big buff lady. Because people seem to like the big girls! And along with that, I was spending some more time practicing human characters. I mentioned this on Twitter, but getting into drawing humans this late in my art career gives me an appreciation for people who do it as a living. You have to be so subtle with your brush strokes and lines, even the tiniest differences makes the character look completely different when you start to straddle a "realistic" look.
