Howdy Patrons!

Not a ton to show today as far as volume goes, namely because a lot of piece were pretty polished. The kind of tradeoff you like to see!

This week a good amount of time was spent on wrapping up the adoptable kobold auction that recently wrapped up. Happy to report that all of the kobolds sold, which I was honestly not sure was going to happen initially (since this was the first time I'd done adoptables). The buyer for Aspen wanted some of her design reworked, mostly minor changes like coloration and removal of piercings, but they also suggested some changes to her head, specifically the shape of the horns, and giving her hair and ears. I quite like how it came out! She's also going to be renamed, but more of that will be revealed next week once I finish giving the image the full ref sheet treatment.

Which is a great segue into the other two kobolds I have on display! Lapis and Neon didn't have any design changes requested, so they had their images finalized with some color palettes and reference notes. Admittedly I went a little extra on Neon's, largely just due to having a spark of inspiration that I absolutely had to capitalize on.

The rest of the week was also more often than not the result of sparks of inspiration striking. The commission for CJR being another example. Prior to working on it I had only had vague ideas for what I wanted to do with the prompt, but one night the idea came into mind as clear as day, and so I knocked that out shortly afterwards!

Only other noteworthy works were some sketches continuing to practice humanoid faces, and a subsequent demon character that spawned from it. She's supposed to be an older-sister type of character, slightly bullying but looking out for your best interests. Also because I've been watching a lot of anime lately, I figured it would be humorous if she were called Oni-san (instead of onee-san), but I'd have to look into how best to make that read as a play on words instead of it being a more straightforward reference.

Anyway! That'll do it for this snapshot update. As always, thanks for your continued support, and have a great rest of your weekend!
