Hey there patrons!

So to keep things active and at least hopefully somewhat exciting while I find my groove for Patreon stuff, I'm going to start doing a post every weekend that has a snapshot of works in progress and sketches that've been worked on recently. I'm still not fully settled on what to call these posts (I like Sketchdump Saturday but if I want to show off more polished stuff that doesn't really work does it?), so that'll probably be something I figure out in the next week or so. Maybe Weekend WIP Update?

Along with the image, I'll also include a little blurb to go along with it, to give a bit more context as to what I've been working on! So let's get to it!

First off, I'm working on making some Adoptable Kobold designs that I'm targeting to sell later this month! There will be five in total (the fifth one is also sketched out, but I didn't want to try and fit it with the others), and I'll be opening them up to Patrons first as a fixed price FCFS adopt, before offering them up to the public in an auction format. If any of these kobolds pique your interest, keep an eye out for the announcement!

The rest of the sketches are pretty straightforward. Lately I've been wanting to improve on various aspects of my art that I haven't really touched as much as I should have over the years. These past couple weeks I've been focused on practicing Human characters primarily (though humorously I'm still VERY much in the phase of needing to crutch on anime styling just to get anything I'm remotely happy with), and as a result I made two new characters, Michelle and Katrina, that I'm already very fond of! I'll likely be doing more of the two of them in the future!

The last sketch I included in this dump is just some perspective practice. While the perspective tools in CSP are an absolute godsend for geometric shapes, there's still some fundamental practice I need to do to be able to accurately place a character on a plane in perspective reliably. And since I want to do more properly macro artwork, it's something I'll have to keep working at. But I'll get there eventually!

That's all for this weekend! Let me know what you think of the format so far and if there's anything else you'd like to see moving forward!
