Hey there Patrons!

First, as a reminder, if you haven't voted on the May Reward vote yet, you've got until tomorrow to do it!

Hope your weekend is going well and that you saw the auroras at night if you were able to! It was the first time I had ever seen them and it was the craziest thing I'd ever seen! Hopefully will be seeing more over the next few days too!

Alright, lets get into the update real quick! Shorter update this week, as the start of the week I was still out of town so I didn't have the same capacity to work that I normally would, and midweek I was busy with non-art related things. Most of the work again this week was spent on commissions, and four different commissions had some work done in some way. Another round of feedback for Aatarashi's comm resulted in making the main character substantially larger, though they'll be getting even bigger (though not by nearly as much comparatively) after the latest feedback, so look forward to the bigness there! Similarly in the "make them bigger" boat, the sketch for CharoletteBirb had a lot of enlargement take place, as the feedback there was to take all the biggest aspects from the batch of sketches and put them in the pose that was selected. And the trend continues for Keldric's piece as well, though not in this update. These were additional new sketches to pick a pose from, and one was settled on, though, you guessed it, she'll be getting bigger as well!

Moving on, the rest of the work doesn't cover too much, but I've been in talks with VioletNeon over their next commission, and without spoiling too much just yet, there's going to be some Riptide Black involved, so we've been brainstorming ideas for how their character will be affected by the drink. So far the ideas we've come up with are something I'm looking forward to work on properly, but the sketch of the arms was more just to convey an idea I had, and that particular sketch likely won't be in the final piece.

And from there, just a few warmup sketches that I used to practice different things, human faces, more "accurately shaped" heads for different anthro species, and just shaking off some rust from having been away from the workstation for a few days. (I did some sketches on my iPad while I was gone but the workflow doesn't feel the same and I always run into a situation where drawing feels weird the first day back).

That'll do it for this week's snapshot! Not a ton to go over, but sometimes that's just how it goes. Hopefully next week will have more to go over! As always, thank you all so much for your support! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!
