This month, Aubrey takes Mike on a guided tour of one of pop culture's weirdest internet corners: Harpers Bazaar's "Everything I Eat In A Day" video series.

This episode features detailed breakdowns from Antoni Porowski, Kelly Ripa and Tiffany Haddish, plus cameos from Nadiya Hussain, Kumail Nanjiani, Ian Somerhalder and Mike's boyfriend in 2003. We recorded this a few months ago so some of the references are a little out of date, but we hope the insights are still fresh.

You can play the episode directly through Patreon or use our RSS feed to add it to your podcast app. Here are the instructions from Patreon. And as ever, let us know in the comments if there are other topics we should cover in future bonus episodes.

See you in July!

I remember reading one of Chelsea Handler’s books, and she had a trainer who made her do a food diary. At first, she’s serious and then she goes to a baby shower and has 15 jalapeño poppers and a bunch of Kettle One. And she tells her trainer and he’s horrified.😂😂😂😂😂And her trainer was very early 2000’s and Chelsea was being all of us all the time. I love her!

The antoni section reminds me of the Dr will cole interview with qweneth paltrow. It ends with her desperately pining for a slice of pizza which she "isn't allowed" to eat anymore. Its really sad. Also that "drs" podcast is INSANE and worth an investigation for the pod.

Rob McElhenney, like Kumail Nanjiani, talks extensively and hilariously about weight loss. His sound bites are great—yeah losing weight is easy as long as a studio is paying you millions to do it, you have a personal trainer, someone makes all your meals, etc

I enjoy relistening to these episodes. I have a thought on Kelly Ripa, I can see not eating before doing a live morning show. When I eat breakfast that sort of stimulates the GI tract to start moving and I gotta poop. So I can see waiting to eat chewing food until after you finish the filming in the early morning.

I'm a woman and I've never dieted! I'm 31 so I grew up in the time of magazines drawing circles around cellulite and shit. It really helped that my parents both explained to me that all the mags are photoshopped. My dad takes photos and uses Photoshop so I saw how extremely you can change an image. I have never been fat, but I was bullied for being fat for many years in school. It actually made me NOT want to ever diet because I was like "fuck you guys, you're not taking away my sense of security AND my food." I honestly never really considered going on a diet, and resisted when friends wanted me to join them on their diets. I think I realized from a young age that diets don't work because people on them are always miserable and you have to maintain it to maintain the weight loss.

I had to listen to an audio book by Sarah Wilson for book club. It was about anxiety. I didn’t realize she is connected to “I quit sugar” and anti inflammation. Please do an episode on sugar and inflammation!

Yes please! I was convinced to eliminate all sugar after cancer. I have long covid now and am so so nauseous I can't do it. But I also wonder how bad sugar really is

Haha the Tiffany Haddish diary was amazing. It’s not “fake” so much as “satire” which was spot on.

Listening to everything a celebrity eats in a day sounds so. Boring. Bless you.
