I think BD is going to go one of a couple ways- Ben realizes that the official paper does not gain him as much as he already basically has with Dawn and Adrienne and MARRIES NO ONE (for at least several years). I still have high hopes for Dawn, though. I HAD been thinking Summer was in the lead, but 'Thornfield' cast doubt on that for me. Her need for him feels like it is drop of poison in their relationship.

The only reason people are not in Dawn camp....admittedly myself included is because of the prologue. Maybe it was a false flag, like the coma dream from CSL#3. Would really like to see a commitment ceremony for Dawn and Ben atleast....to show her character progression arc.

I don't understand why the author pushes Dawn out of Ben's life in book 7, and imposes Summer. She Dawn is Ben's only wife forever. Adri spoils everything or 3-Delt or can't settle down.

I don' necessarily agree about Dawn (he's got history with Adrienne, so I'm good with either), but it IS pretty transparent how he's just forcing Summer into the slot. Having an utterly forgettable interlude in TSL is not history or the foundation of anything, and all the protests Ben made at the outset didn't fool anyone where it was going or make it feel earned when it happened. She's basically a blowup doll, now with patented Tragic Backstory to further validate Ben as her savior and also justifying his mansplaining their relationship at her.

Book 7 ruined the whole saga. 3delt, Summer, bdsm, it ruined all the old potential. Dawn the author turned her into a whore, gave her a chance to come back, but she turned out 2-3 times better and superior to Adrienne. Those who started reading the saga from book 1 do not write comments, they are not children and they are no longer interested in this santa barbara 90. The author to me has completely destroyed all the good stuff that was in the first 6 books. In the polls I've seen many change their beliefs - only young, immature characters are capable of this. The author manipulates and adjusts to the subscribers. As I wrote above everything good that was created is ruined for the unsophisticated youngsters. Thanks for everything. Can I unsubscribe at the end of the month and not worry about the end of the piece, it will not return the interest of many people anyway. My answer is yes. The author sold and traded the cherry of the piece for 20 cents. He can be understood, but I don't want to read it anymore, no interest.

Honestly, theres only 2 worthy...Dawn and AD. They have been the mainstay characters who have immense history and character development. It seems Dawn is being neglected as a character and that's a huge mistake. I am happy AD is back in a more prominent role.
