I did a Shippo and a 2B!

Shippo was a commission and I started and finished 2B before the poll closed.

The embroidery on 2B's skirt was an absolute nightmare.

Shippo! When you wrote "I sure hope you guys like Inuyasha..." I dared to hope =)

Love it. I also love the special base on 2B. Can’t wait to print that one!

They are great

Is there any chance you’d be able to strengthen the swords on the Kaine model? Maybe cross them in an X pattern to give them a little more support. I use a tenacious/Phrozen mix and even though it’s decently pliable they still want to snap fairly easily.

Ugh, I knew that was going to be a problem. The brittleness of resin really is its Achilles Heel... I'll try increasing the thickness of the wrists and handles. Maybe toy with the pose... That should help a bit.

Definitely one of the cons of using resin. But the pros far outweigh the cons. I appreciate you having a look at her, one of my most favorite models yet. Stoked on the upcoming 2B as well!

I use the tough resin - it has better flexibility than standard, so things break less often. It's great for durable miniatures, but it takes some getting used to. Particularly, if you under-cure it, you end up with too-flexible bits (droopy polearms, or a figure standing on one leg that slowly bends to the wide), but if you over-cure it, it turns just as brittle as standard.
