Hi Not interested in NSFW - will never print them - I see it's popular elsewhere - However this topic should be a binary choice NSFW or standard - ie in votes Std items outnumber NSFW - another Patreon handles this as a higher tier - Creators can do as they like ( within reason ) - but when they go this route substantially I unsub - as no need for it . Contextually it has to make sense - Lady Godiva or Leda or Amazonas etc

Thanks for the feedback! I know that NSFW stuff can be popular for a lot of people and a huge turnoff for others. I'm just gauging interest.

Nier; Anyone, I've never played it, they just look cool. The NSFW; I rarely print them, but they are popular and can look decent. It will probably bring in more than it loses, (though I would prioritise those already here) as long as we dont lose quantity of models that is, <.<

I'm okay with NSFW, I do print some for fun (at this scale, it's not like it costs a lot of resin) and since they have less clothes it's actually faster to paint them. ^^ I think most of people are fine. Binary choice always erases all variants of grey. The real issue is if NSFW models take you a lot of work and thus means there are less models per month. But if you propose simply variants (clothed model and less clothed model for the same), I don't think you'll lose that many subscribers. Maybe make a tier including NSFW models specifically, that'll actually boost your money per month I believe. ^^

As for the discord, I"m interested to see the painting job of other backers and sometimes post my humble painted models (I'm no Golden Demon winner, though).

My modeling process starts with a nude character blank which I pose and then clothe. As a result, I already have nude or semi-nude versions of almost all the models I release. They just need to be cleaned up a bit and supported. If I did add a NSFW tier the entire Patreon would be labeled 18+.

The label could be indeed annoying. Or maybe make a separate patreon account for the NSFW part, so that one is "safe" and only the other would be labelled 18+ ? But that could be bothersome, I don't know

On NSFW - I don't have anything against it, but I don't often use them, so they aren't a huge pull either. So I'm thoroughly 'meh' about the whole thing.

NSFW models aren't my jam, but they don't bother me. Diff'rent (brush)strokes and all that... A Discord would be neat for sharing painted models

A note on NSFW: There's a market, to be sure, and I have a few Patreons I'm on that do SFW/NSFW of the same model (usually a clothed + topless/nude version), so it's viable. BUT, as someone who primary sells at conventions, NSFW is something I can't carry for my on-site collection due to rules. I wouldn't object to having it every so often, but I'd hope that it won't be a primary focus since your wide selection I can display is a HUGE draw at my booth :)
