Author's Note: This is the first in a very short series for a spooky Monster Musume story! There's a bit too much story to do as a singular one shot,  and despite my current illness I wanted to share this first section for the end of the month while working on finishing the next, NSFW sections! It is my intent to have this series fully finished and posted over the coming days.

Please, enjoy!

*********************************************************************************************************

Centorea Shianus awoke slowly, heavily, as if she were coming to from a long-desired dream. Darkness swam around her, filling the centaur-woman’s thoughts and senses like a sea of gelatin. A blob of carrot-scented jelly had an effect like smelling salts on the blonde woman’s body.

Her mind was spinning, her centaur body at both times overheated and too cool, yet she still couldn’t see. She tried to lift her arms to her face, to kick her powerful legs, only to realize that she couldn’t move. It was as if she was… heavy, so heavy that even thinking about moving was making her exhausted, but… but no, that couldn’t be right.

No, Centorea was strong. She was… she was surrounded.

Claustrophobia came as Cerea realized she must be beset, and with it came the realization that she could feel something on her body, her chest, even her face. Even…

It was in her mouth. Cerea felt the liquid churning and jiggling against her body, then on her lips, then inside of her mouth.

She’d thought she’d opened her eyes, but her renewed strain put an ache in her muscles, and Cerea felt as if she were crashing through wave after wave of debilitating sea. She could hear it, feel it, taste it, and as she opened her eyes, Cerea could see it.

The blob. A gelatinous cube, a transparent ooze which had only the goal of absorbing and digesting organic matter. Cerea was inside of it.

Panic caused the blonde to flail her unmoving arms, but they didn’t move. She kicked, but her legs couldn’t find purchase. She knew of this beast, this horrible monster that lived only to consume.

Only then did she recognize the actual taste, more than just the warm feeling of jelly. The creature, the foul beast that meant to digest her, it tasted very much like… sugar? No, more than that. Like… chocolate. Like chocolate… covered… carrots.

She bit down.

The cube rumbled, and only then did Cerea realize that the cube was wrong. It wasn’t the color it should have been, a methanol-stained blue like the humans’ anti-freeze or cleaners. Instead the cube was a bright, brilliant orange, with dark pockets of milk-chocolate brown bubbling through the cube’s ‘body.’

Cerea swallowed the tasty mouthful. She had no idea what a gelatinous cube’s makeup could do from inside of her, but it couldn’t be worse than what it planned to do from outside.

Her mouth cleared, Cerea was able to open and breath more easily. Air was, somehow, coming through the cube. Maybe through the slime’s pores, or maybe the gelatin was highly oxygenated. Whatever it was, Cerea wasn’t in danger of suffocating or drowning.

Just being eaten.

She tried again to move her arms and legs, again feeling sluggish and restrained. But, if she pushed, Cerea could just move her neck, and the space cleared gave her room to open her lips.

Cerea slurped at the binding gelatin, feeling the odd mass becoming a liquid as she pulled it into her mouth. It was tasty, far tastier than something like this should be, and went down easily as she swallowed another mouthful, than another.

The slime squelched. Chocolate bubbles began to mix inside.

She hoped she was hurting it. Whatever consciousness that the slime may have, she hoped it felt pain.

She had to pause after only a few swallows, having earned enough space for the jelly to be forced back from her face. She blinked, feeling the heavy drips of carrot-flavored mass dribbling from her cheeks and her eyelashes. It was all over her hair, the mushing mass squeezing her body inside its firm hold.

But she could breath easily, her nose and mouth completely freed. The small pocket made the rest of the slime look discolored, and in it she could see other shapes. Masses that had been trapped in the block.

Cerea felt a bubble of anxiety form in her own stomach, and it had nothing to do with the cube.

She snapped forward, biting the next bit rather than sucking it down. That got an even bigger reaction from the slime, a true rumble that shook the centaur’s own body. She saw it recoil from her face and neck, freeing up to her chest.

Just enough that she was able to push her right arm free. It thunked into the slime’s body, her fingers clawing another handful and tearing it up to her lips. She could feel it moving away from her back, as if she were slowly surfacing from a pool.

Cerea’s other arm came free. It too fed her another mouthful, tearing it away from the top. This one bubbled with the chocolate and when she bit down the bubbles popped and warm, gooey mess spilled over her lips and down her throat.

The trickle spilled down Cerea’s chin, dribbling onto Cerea’s nearly exposed breasts.

She blinked, looking down at herself. Was she… was she only wearing a bra?

Cerea twisted. No, she was wearing a dark cloak around the top of her equine body, but for some reason the centaur was nearly topless. A hurried glance at the slime showed she wasn’t about to be immediately smothered, nor did she feel any acid-like pain in her leg or tummy.

Cerea put a hand to her breast, fingers curled into a tightening fist. She tried to remember what she’d been wearing, what she’d been doing, but nothing came forth from her sluggish memory. “Foul creation,” she cursed the slime, knowing for a fact that it couldn’t respond.

She still wasn’t free yet, and looking down through the layer beneath showed that Cerea legs were hovering a good few feet from the ground. But the hold was lessening, she just needed to keep up her assault.

Steadying her breath, Cerea pushed her arms forward, digging into the vibrating slime. She clawed simultaneous scoops, lifting them to her mouth. She had to push herself to suck it down quickly, feeling the heaviness of the jelly sinking down her throat and into her stomach.

A hesitant hand wrapped around her center, her fingers gripping a handful of flesh that had certainly not been there only minutes ago. Her bare belly had a soft, swollen curve, as jiggly as the slime which surely filled it. Cerea already felt bloated, and there was still so much to go.

It was absurd, unbecoming, outrageous!

But it was necessary.

Leaning down, grabbing more, eating more. As much as she could stomach, then forcing another mouthful. Then another.

The centaur digestive system was a tricky beast on its own. Food could spend hours, even days, passing from Cerea’s humanoid center and down into her equine organs. She knew that she possessed two stomachs, one at her navel, the other between her straining horse legs. But she’d need both her humanoid tummy and her much larger stomach to cooperate if she was going to free herself from this prison. To digest rather than be digested.

Another bite, another heavenly taste of sweet-soaked carrots, but Cerea could hardly pay it any attention. She felt the warmth of the slime inside of her, pushing down through her tummy, an awkward slop into her second stomach. It was a discomforting, creeping feeling, but a hand on her middle showed it was essential. There just wasn’t any room.

A potbelly filled both of Cerea’s hands, orange jelly dribbling from her munching mouth. It was half the size of her breasts, which considering Cerea was an I-Cup was exceptionally worrying.

Laborious breaths puffed from the centaur’s center. “Ooohhh,” she strained, panting as the mounting ache stretched from her center. “Foul creation, foul beast. You will not have me.”

She swallowed another mouthful, looking up towards the slime with a blazing blue in her eye.

“You will not have me!”

Her fingers tore, upending slop past her lips and pulling it down her throat.

A noise rumbled throughout the room, a hideous cracking sound that caused Cerea to look up. The slime had pulled away from the ceiling! She could see it, dark wooden beams that were…

They were breaking.

Immediately, Cerea understood.

Snapping down, Cerea kicked her legs with as much power as she could. Dust sank from the ceiling and another crack crunched the wooden planks. The blonde woman dug her fingers into the slime, trying to pull herself down now, her hooves slowly swimming through the sludge.

She was back up to her waist in slime, feeling the warmth closing around her chest when she felt the wetness rumble around her.

From somewhere overhead, a behemoth roared.

Cerea kicked again and, this time, she felt elation as her hoof snapped against something. A bottom, the slime forced apart as each leg struck home and Cerea pushed herself forward, clawing at the wake.

Another roar, another sickening crack, and a plank gave way. It fell into the slime near Cerea’s flank, immediately halting only two inches in. Whatever was above, it was too heavy. The slime had been bearing the brunt of its weight, but without its holding…

Cerea clopped as quick as she could, gaining only inches. She lunged forward with her neck, tearing free the nearest slime and causing the monster to rumble in pain and, she hoped, fear.

Cerea then passed into the slime, diving through gelatin as if it were an ocean of lard. It kept recoiling away from her face, showing whatever thought process it had knew that was the threat, but Cerea kept pushing, kept chewing, kept swallowing.

Kept swelling.

Her tummy stretched, the slime clinging to the increasing curve. A round slope lifted from her skirt, stretched out to her navel, before gently pulling in near her ribs. The weight of the slime pulled her down, trying to keep her stuck, but Cerea forced herself forward.

She passed nearby the dark shape on the floor. What she had feared to be a person turned out to be a chair, another shape a couch, then a coffee table. Cerea didn’t have time to think, she moved, digging her face into the lardy substance.

Through the slime, whatever bestial entity above sounded like nothing more than a dull rumble. An impatient stomach that was whining for her next meal. Cerea blinked, suddenly feeling dizzy, confused, but she bit down on another mouthful of chocolate and continued the sickening crawl.

The brightness of the slime did her a kindness. She could see through the next couple of feet. She could see the gray siding of the interior wall! Cerea strode, feeling every muscle in her sluggish body pushing her onward, the pain in her belly forgotten by elation as she saw the clear outline of a wooden door.

Cerea swam and she ate. She ate, and she ate, and she could swear she could feel the slime trembling before her hungry might.

And then the roof collapsed.

She heard it cave in, a horrendous boom that squelched the slime and even propelled her forward as the cube was reshaped. Cerea tried to twist to look behind her, but there was no space. She had to wiggle her bottom back and forth to sink back to the floor, and she continued forwards.

The slime trembled as she reached the door, not in irritation or anguish, but now in a true and unmistakable sensation that could only be terror. Cerea forced herself to bite and swallow another mouthful of jelly, using her hands to cram it past her lips and guide it down to her stomachs.

When she cleared another air pocket, she discovered she was struggling to breath. Her human belly wasn’t a small potbelly, it was a sagging gut loaded with pounds of carrot-flavored slime. There was hardly even room for air in her torso, devolving Cerea into a mess of heavy wheezes. Her eyes had trouble focusing through the pain of her bloat, the tension in her belly.

The slime pulled away from her face, cleared from her ears and her shoulders, and finally Cerea had a chance to turn and look behind her.

Something was moving through the slime.

A dark mass, as huge as it was long, seemed almost to swim unhindered through the gelatinous cube. Cerea could feel the anguished slime’s response to the intruder slicing through it, but Cerea remembered the roar.

She wouldn’t be eaten. Not by this slime, nor any other accursed creature!

Cerea spun back to the door, rising back on her hindquarters. Her front legs separated from the slime, lifting into her pocket of space. The blonde came back down to deliver a furious kick.

A wet, bubbling sound popped from the slime that she struck, separating from the wall and dripping back down to the bottom. She lifted again, hitting the exact same position, then again.

From above, and below, Cerea felt the behemoth’s bellow, quivering even the slime as her legs connected with the door a final time.

The handle came away. The door swung forwards on its hinges, clapping on the outer wall with Cerea tumbling out onto the open floor. She twisted, the mounted adrenaline giving her space and speed to grab the door just as some horrible tendril ripped through the slime, chasing her out of the room.

Cerea threw the door closed and threw herself on it, pinning it shut with the weight of the centaur plus more than a few pounds of slime. She felt the behemoth’s strike push against the door, more of a shove than the thunderous clap she’d prepared for, but Cerea held it pinned.

The lock had been completely busted. She couldn’t hold it for long, but a hurried glance revealed that Cerea was in a hallway of sorts, with an onyx black cupboard sitting nearby the door.

Cerea shouted, lifting to her rear and kicking the door inward before racing for the cupboard. She pulled.

The door began to open once more, forced by the beast, but the collapsing cupboard fell into the wood and pinched it shut. Cerea kicked the top into place, hauling the cupboard sideways and pinning the door. A cabinet on the other side of the hallway quickly joined the blockage, then a table thrown over the top.

She could hear something bouncing off the interior, trying and failing to force the door open, and Cerea nearly collapsed from relief.

She put her hands on her waist, now feeling the dribbling exertion and the pain in her stomach resurfacing. Cerea leaned back, groaning “Ooooh. Oh heavens. Of all… Madness.”

Cerea backed away from the door, reaching the other side of the hallway before collapsing onto her haunches. She realized that the hallway wasn’t fully carpeted like she had first thought. Rather, it had a hardwood floor stained blue by the moon. A red carpet trailed the length of the hall towards a large set of wooden double doors, while the other side rose to a grand, black, staircase.

Cerea stared at the blockage, unable to process, hardly able to move. She looked down at herself. Her stomach had swollen to the size of a melon, still only barely smaller than her large chest. She could feel the immense difference it made, her breasts no longer relying only on her bra for support. They were resting on top of her body.

What happened to her clothes? What happened to her… her friends.

Cerea straightened up, her blonde hair standing on end and tail swishing with sudden agitation. She remembered.

Her hooves clopped as Cerea raced for the large double doors. She bucked back and hit them, smashing them apart and swinging them open.

A long wooden porch wrapped around the entirety of the house. Sitting on the frame were four large, plastic pumpkins. Novelty toys for a pack of trick-or-treaters labeled, ‘Miia,’ ‘Meroune,’ ‘Rachnera,’ and ‘Cerea.’

She’d been wearing her armor. Dressed as a knight to the mermaid’s elegant princess. She’d even let Meroune ride on her back, a compromising position for the centaur, but it was an honorable service for true royalty.

Over her chest and her flank, Cerea had been fully armored. Now, all that she had was her bra and the cloak that covered only her equine-half. Tied around her hips and flowing down past her knees, the cloak was the only thing keeping her decent while her bra was beginning to feel annoyingly tight. Something happened, she couldn’t know what, but-

Cerea then spotted a purple and orange witch’s cap, giving her memory the jolt of Miia’s amber eyes and her fanged smirk, and finally a trail of wrappings leading from the path up to the porch. It was all that Rachnera had worn, the lazy arachnid dressed down as a mummy.

She stepped outside and nearly jumped as something crunched beneath her foot. A tiny, silver, princess tiara with a large aquamarine gem right on the center.

Her blue eyes were flaming, burning brighter than fire in the full moon’s light. Her nostrils flared, her body growled. The pain in her swollen middle was tight, but she didn’t care.

She felt her hand trembling, the memory of laughter and candy and a spooky house bubbling to the top of her mind.

Cerea saw something else, just off the steps off the steps of the porch. A glint of metal. From the bushes, the knight lifted her long, steel lance.

It wasn’t a sword, but it would do.

To herself, Cerea whispered her vow. “By my honor, by my might, no evil shall escape this land. Lord give guidance, and holy light. I beg you, Justice, guide my hand.”

Cerea Shianus snapped up, then rushed back into the ancient, dark, disturbing house as, from somewhere inside, a girl began to scream.
