Ok, let me tell you real quick what happened:

I was chilling with my laptop in my bed when suddenly I heard a bang, followed by a small spark of fire. The cable that connects my laptop with its power adapter had a short circuit or however you call that in english and was about to set my sheets on fire.

Never seen anything like it. It only stopped when I pulled the plug. The good news is that apart from an unusable power adabter and a slightly burned sheet, nothing happened. Sometimes I leave my laptop on and charged when I go out...I doubt that I will do that again. Don't want to imagine what happend if I wasn't present when it happened.

The bad news is that I cannot simply walk into a store and buy a new power adapter or a usb cable (I learned that you can charge a laptop with usb 3.1, which my laptop has), because of the lockdown. Every store is closed here. I thought I had a usb to usb cable at home, but after hours of search it turns out I have a billion usb to micro usb cables, but none for usb to usb :(.

It all happened on wednesday, I ordered a new power adapter immediatly (the adapter is from a chinese brand, not everyone has it in store), but unfortunetly it did not get delivered today. Tomorrow is sunday, so let us hope for monday, because I got a notification email that it got sent on friday evening. I don't know if there are any current delivery delays due to corona.

All in all pretty annoying, because I was making good progress...it will most likely push the release to end of april.

Let us hope they deliver the right power adapter in time ;). And I have to think about a solution on what to do when my laptop decides to light itself on fire. I don't want to backup everything to my normal desktop because of the huge asset library. Idk, maybe some kind of cloud solution...

Not the best update, I know. Sorry guys, can't show you any pictures atm because they're all on my laptop, and I spend the last of its battery life watching...inspirational stuff :)

Stay kinky!
